Start ReportingCreditLadder is the first & only way to report your rent payments and improve your credit position with Experian, Equifax, TransUnion & Crediva.
Signing up to CreditLadder is simple and only takes a few minutes. Register your details and once completed, connect your bank account to provide CreditLadder with read only access. You keep paying your rent as you do today - CreditLadder does not collect your rent.
Each month CreditLadder will match the rent payments you have made to your landlord or letting agent through the secure bank connection you’ve created. This information is then shared with Experian, Equifax, TransUnion and Crediva and will appear on the respective statutory reports.
CreditLadder has been reporting rent payments since 2016, is regulated by the FCA, and has reported over £1bn in rent payments.
CreditLadder has also been recognised for its work by the Government, when HM Treasury announced it was the biggest winner of their Rent Recognition Challenge competition.

Easy to setup
Easy to setup, everything explained pretty well. Currently credit score’s gone down but apparently it’s expected to go down before it goes up, so waiting to see how that turns out.

Quick and professional response and resolution
I had made an inputting error because of an issue with how the form loaded on my device (and honestly loading issues with my brain too), and they responded very quickly, and resolved the issue without further stress.
It was relatively easy to set up an account with details so please don’t be put off by my own snafoo!

CreditLadder is fantastic! Using this service has been really good for my credit score. It almost single-handedly helped me get my credit score up from a middling score to the highest tier. Their customer service is also really good. I made a payment mistake, and they very quickly organised a refund for me. I would recommend them for anyone currently renting with the intention to buy a house in the future

Easy to use and gave me peace of mind
I used Credit Ladder while renting to help make sure my rent payments were counted toward my credit history. I’m not totally sure if it improved my score, but it was really easy to set up and link with my bank. It was reassuring to know my rent was being reported, especially while I was working towards buying a house.

Im not sure what this company is supposed to achieve. My rental payments are not being reported. I had an email to say they were and when I clicked on the link to check it states I need to register my tenancy, total waste of my time

Just a quick reminder: your very first payment can take around two months to show up, and after that, new payments appear monthly. This little delay is totally normal and happens because of processing times with the credit agencies, we mention this during onboarding too.
