Excellent performane, excellent venue, Piece Hall.
Cant wait for next year.

Echoing what many other customers have said about accessibility. Lack of communication and poor facilities, staff were also clueless. Had to argue for a facilities wristband as most staff didn’t know they existed. Access seats in a position where you couldn’t even see the screens when stood up (at £95) and hours sat in a queue to park in 30 degree heat, left early to avoid the same on the way out. Emailed after the event but no surprises they haven’t bothered to reply, just an automated email saying they are busy. Wouldn’t attend another of their events.

All responses to everything come from “Joel” I’m not sure if he’s even a real person at this point.

Very well organised event at Scarborough open air theatre. 2nd time I have seen Deacon Blue here. Was seated last time but this time we were standing. Much better experience, not too over crowded, plenty of space to move around.

Undertones, Pistols and Bellingham

Truly memorable evening, staff were helpful and friendly despite having to work extra at short notice.

Had concerns about both main bands not having original vocalists but the performances were awesome and the atmoshphere great.

Showing the football really added to the occasion and the right result finished the evening in the best possible manner.

Really enjoyed the show but struggled with being only 5ft and very tall people

Another great night at the Scarborough open air theatre. Only downside of the night was waiting for the bands to come on,7.45 for lightning seeds and 9.00 for Deacon Blue and the seeds did a shorter show

They clearly use a bot to respond to emails without reading them, as I emailed multiple times regarding some tickets donated to charity and got the same response every time, and the case would be immediately marked resolved. Then when I’d try to reopen it, I wouldn’t get a reply and would have to submit the same request again and get the same response. Impossible and not ideal for a small charity just trying to get assistance with verifying some tickets!

The Piece Hall in Halifax UK is an amazing venue for any genre of music ….. having been to quite a few gigs there I have never been disappointed by the range of artists, the facilities and the atmosphere which is held by the beautiful architecture of the quadrangle. Long may they continue !

I love the piece hall for gigs, it s great venue set in Halifax.
I’ve seen plenty of gigs there.
We went to see the undertones and the sex pistols. Was a great evening for everyone there.
Wasn’t happy with them not allowing me take in my sealed Volvic flavoured water in to the venue because he said the bottle was too big, we are in the middle of an heatwave. Later on I saw people coming in with bigger bottles and the paper cups were taller than the bottle.
Other than the water experience we had a fantastic night.

Both marti and Billy were fantastic, venue out of this world and staff to match love the place.

Terrible. Loads of young people who had too much Sun and drink..they were SICK in front of all of us and the Staff didn't clean any of it up. So we spent 2 hours looking and dancing around a massive pile of Red Cider SICK.
No body cares once they have your money. The Toilet queues were very long about 10 minutes plus.
The gents had far fewer loos than then the Mens.
Pints were ££9 very expensive.

Think billy ocean needs to retire. Yes some good favourites but he also seemed soulless and didn’t seem to interact with the crowd the acts before seemed better

Marti Pellow and Billy Ocean at the Piece Hall Halifax. Superb concert. Well organised, great staff, got through security quickly. We live locally and attend many concerts and events here. We are very fortunate in that respect.

I bought a ticket for my 16 year old daughter to go with her friends that were 18. The security staff decided to take it upon themselves to interrogate the group about how they knew each other, but only after they scanned all the tickets. They then turned them all away, this prevented any of them trying to go back in again as it would show already scanned. They then intimidated a group of girls until they left. When the ticket was purchased, I checked the T&C's and the ticket sales said must be with a responsible adult. The security staff stated it must be a parent/guardian. My daughter was devastated!

Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter were brilliant 🤩 Undertones were great too.

All staff at piece Hall were courteous. Very well run & weather fabulous 😎

Everything went so smoothly. Venue and staff amazing Deacon Blue out of this world . Lightning Seeds a cracking support too
