Everything went so smoothly. Venue and staff amazing Deacon Blue out of this world . Lightning Seeds a cracking support too

The main reason was Michael Buble who was amazing but another half hour would have been great. Appletons were ok but went off too early so we were sat waiting for over half an hour for Michael so not good as the atmosphere falls flat and too much drinking may make more money but not conducive to good behaviour.

Great venue, great band and great result when you add in the England match. Well done for reorganising to show the Norway match on the big screen at short notice.

Saw Bastille supported by the brilliant Nectar Woods last night at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
Negatives. The food is overpriced rubbish. Some nice street food options would be great but its mostly expensive slop. The drains need flushing, lots of smelly areas. I know its been hot
Positives. Staff for the most part are polite, friendly & welcoming.
Staging is great and clearly seen/heard from everywhere.
A great list of shows this summer to suit most tastes. Always better in the sunshine 🌞

First class performance

Thank goodness for your staff, had a real panic when I couldn't open ticketmaster for ticket scanning. Helped by a lovely man who pointed out downloadmytickets. Panic over and quickly found our seats. Another amazing night at OAT.

I have been to a number of shows at The Piece Hall over the years and enjoyed them all. Most of the staff are amazing, the bar staff could work on their customer service skills.

Our latest visit was Billy Ocean and Marti Pellow; another amazing show but I was very concerned that Marti felt the need to stop his show to get assistance for an audience member in distress. Massive plaudits to Marti for doing that but it a real concern that he had to repeatedly call for security and medical staff to assist a person in distress and did not give up until he saw tjat help had arrived. It was one of the hottest nights of the year and security were not ensuring the safety of the audience.

On a positive note, perhaps that incident hit home because my 82 year old mum, who love every minute of the gig, was struggling when we were asked to leave and the wonderful security officer checked she was okay then assisted her down the stairs.

I usually give The Piece Hall a big 10/10, but the rudeness of the bar staff, and the need for the artist on stage to call for assistance, gives this experience an 8/10. The Piece Hall has and can do better.

Nowhere near enough toilets for the number of visitors at Scarborough Open Air Theatre… when you only have a short time between sets to visit the loo then you def need more than 8 cubicles for those who need or prefer to use them. It took 45 minutes to get access to the loo, and I missed the start of Deacon Blue who I have not managed to see live since the first time I did in 1989! Was a huge let down not to be able to get back from the loo on time for this. I cannot fault the location or the sound or the performance (they are as good now as the first time; or even better with a huge body of work to choose from) on the night.

Good access in and out of the venue with great staff on duty/available.
Great access for various transport options available.
Lots of toilets available - obviously queues at peak times.
Lots of options for food and drinks in and out of the Piece Hall.
Billy Ocean supported by Marti Pellow - what an amazing night. Up at the top of the best we've seen.

Billy what a performer at 76 - he can still belt out the tunes.
The Piece Hall was alive with energy and feel good with everyone enjoying a brilliant concert.

Very well organised event. Plenty of security measures so felt safe and able to enjoy the event. Choice of food and drink was very good. Good to see the loos being cleaned and toilet paper replaced throughout the evening.

As usual had a brilliant time at SOAT, the staff were lovely, Lighting Seeds and Deacon Blue were brilliant too. The only gripe I have about the venue is the time it takes to get out! There is only one narrow exit route available due to shortage of policing apparently.

What a truly great venue Scarbourough Open Air is our 2nd no rain so that's always a plus Deacon Blue and Lightening Seeds were amazing Staff friendly smiley and helpful great views from almost anywhere unless really high up loads of loos portaloos and no ques at bars either my favourite venue 100%

Great venue for a concert and both The Lightning Seeds and Deacon Blue put on a brilliant show. Entry was easy and great atmosphere.

Fantastic line up of music! The atmosphere was brilliant and the music was great. Both bands - and what a line up - played their hearts out to the audience, making it feel unique and personal.
Wonderful venue, watching the sunset behind the stage adds to the whole event.
The venue was kept clean throughout by the team working together to make the visitor experience top notch!
Well done Scarborough!

3rd time seeing deacon Blue, 2nd time in Scarborough & it was absolutely amazing, brilliant night & a great atmosphere

Billy ocean was absolutely AMAZING. and as for the venue.... The Piece Hall in Halifax has got to be THE best venue in the UK. The atmosphere and sound and staff are UNBELIEVABLE .

Excellent show but totally spoilt by the amount of people vaping around us. It will be a very long time before I consider visiting another open air show at this venue.

Brilliant concert as usual have come before to see brian adams and Snow Patrol Deacon Blue and The Lightning Seeds were fantastic security at the venue was very good attendance very very helpful. Looking forward to next time.
