Currys - Chesterfield Avis 

Arrived within the time frame promised. Phone call received when they were en route. Very competent installation of washing machine and fridge freezer. Very pleasant and knowledgeable delivery drivers.

Ordered a fridge freezer in stores and was told they could only deliver on a Wednesday to my area.
I took the day off to be at home and when the Fridge freezer turned up, it was damaged.
A massive dent on the side where it's clearly fallen over.
I told the driver to take it back as I wouldn't be accepting a damaged fridge freezer that we paid £1000 for which he took umbrage to and said would you take it with £200 knocked off...!
I repeated again, I would not be accepting a damaged fridge and they would need to return it.
I stated then that I couldn't take more time off and they would need to deliver on a weekend to be told they only deliver Wednesdays so I told them I want a full refund and I'll order elsewhere.
We phoned the CS helpline and was told we had to go into store to get a refund, so more inconvenience to us.
As we ordered through a blue light discount we were told they could only put it back onto a gift card as it's seen as fraud!?
I stated they would have to deliver at a weekend then as it's Currys fault that it arrived damaged and it's been a huge inconvenience to be told they couldn't.
The guy in store said they could deliver in the morning on a Wednesday and would try and make it the first delivery. Lo and behold it's still not arrived. My partner has had to take time off work and was hoping it would arrive so he could only use an hour or 2.
Absolutely disgusted with the service considering it's the fault of the shop. I will not be ordering anything from Currys and will go elsewhere for all future purchases.

Awful service in the store. Waiting 20 minutes To purchase an item, and when I questioned the assistant, was told I was in the wrong queue!
I had joined that queue as there were no assistants anywhere else.
So I left the item and went to a different store. Tbh it's not the first time the customer service has been awful in this shop.

The first sales assistant was very pushy toward a more expensive laptop (made for work purposes), when I did not require it. I later spoke to another salesman whom pointed me in the right direction. To which I purchased

Went to Chesterfield to purchase a Samsung mobile phone (£340). A sales guy looked at the stock and decided they had none in stock but would order one for delivery to home address. All was going well until he asked for payment via card. We had taken cash as we had already researched the cost on the website. I said we would happily pay cash at the desk but he seemed to lose interest straight away, saying it's an online order and has to be paid by card.

We went to Argos in Sainsburys and walked out with a better model ( 256GB instead of the 128GB) for the same money.

Quick and very helpful service. Liked the no quibble taking back for recycling the item being replaced. Very friendly and capable member of staff

I needed a new freezer and was looked after very well on my visit to the Chesterfield store. I did buy and also took out a 5 year insurance plan, well sold to me but not at all pushy by a young man named Jak. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

The salesperson was very helpful he couldn't have been more polite and understanding of what we wanted. So thank you Jak for your help.

When in the shop purchasing the product got asked about insurance, installation,old one being taken away and then delivery all of which are fine but the only delivery offered on screen was a timed slot at £40 but i knew there were cheaper options but i had to ask for these? If i had been someone without internet access at home or not sure how to use internet then i would have been paying £40 for delivery instead of £20. Please can staff offer all options for all things we may or may not need .

and was able to confirm all the items which I asked about.
