Cyclesense Avis 

I BOUGHT A PAIR OF SKS LONG RACEBLADES FROM CYCLE SENSE AND THE SERVICE WAS FIRST CLASS ADDTO THAT THE PRICE WAS THE LOWEST AVAILABLE . I HAVE RECOMMENDED CYCLE SENSE TO 2 OTHER PEOPLE WHO WILL PROBABLY BUY THE MUD GUARDS AS WELL.

i've let my bike in there for a fixing service, haven't use my bike for over a year and there was a lot to be done:

deluxe service, fork service, brake bleed, brake pistons, new chain, new cassette, hub shell and probably even something more than this

i've paid almost 500 gbp in total, but the service i've received was unacceptable, because of:

my bike brake pistons has been swapped without permission, previously i had my front bile on the left and rear on the right, but those has been swapped.

fork jump lock is not working after service, it jumps no matter if it's locked or not

brakes bleeding did not changed anything and brakes are working same as before

hub service has been overpaid because at the quotation state they told me that they could handle it, but as they haven't done it on their own it took more time and money that it suppose

handle bar has not been screwed correctly and i could kill myself, but fortunately nothing bad happened

also few things has been screwed too tight without any oil and my bike is squeaking while i drive

they did not even offer me any refund or discount voucher after i've complained at those things.
only fixing has been offered, but i do not have a time to give them my bike again and what is most important i do not trust them to least my bike with them again.

there are even more small things, but i've already mentioned those big ones just to let you know to avoid them.

I had several phone conversations and email correspondence, everyone I spoke with was friendly and very helpful. This enabled me to make an informed and correct decision on my purchases. This is very important to me when internet shopping, as it can be very difficult to be sure of what I am buying.
I received my items very quickly in fact next day in most instances and the follow up service ie; email conformation and call backs was second to none.
By the way I bought an extrawheel trailer and and a couple of extra bits and am very pleased with it, a pretty awesome idea.

Really surprised by the quick turnaround and service, they even phoned me to check wether I'd made a mistake ordering a womans saddle.

Easy to navigate website, had the product I wanted and at a discount, incredibly prompt service, overall a great shop to do business with.

Extremely fast delivery and good product. Very impressive service whereby I was kept up to date at all stages of the order and delivery.

As above, couldn't fault the process prior to, and during, delivery. My one slight niggle is that the gears 'slip' a bit when out cycling so will need to arrange for someone to correct/adjust them slightly

Saw the mudguards I'd been looking for in the shop window, ordered them Sinday, despatched Monday. Great service.

The item I wanted for a Christmas present was in stock according to the Cyclesense web page, but in reality it was not. Cyclesense sent me an explanatory email. To get the colour I required I had to accept a larger size. This may not fit. We'll see after Christmas

We've been to CycleSense in Thorpe Arch twice- spike to John, our boys tried the scooters, got loads of information and the kids were made really welcome.
Got home, letters to Santa we're written & we placed our order for 2 scooters. One of the scooters was on back-order and upon chasing it later, we found the order couldn't be filled. No problem though, John immediately offered a free upgrade to a better spec scooter (the one that was on the 'Santa probably can't afford this one' list)! Scooters were ready, we arranged to collect & hey presto, Santas packages are ready to be delivered.!

Service is second to none here, coupled with warm friendliness and a child friendly welcome

kept me fully informed of its progress. Overall I was very satisfied with their service...

Searched country high and low for a particular bike for my son's birthday - they had one in stock which was promptly dispatched, and I was kept well informed throughout.

Purchased a scooter £20 cheaper than anywhere else. Parcel arrived the next day. Couldn't fault the scooter or the service. Thanks a lot
