We needed to replace our washing machine due to a sudden complete failure. We went to Dacombes of Wimborne as it is a local company with a good reputation. We had an idea what we wanted to buy and the Dacombes website was excellent and with competitive pricing.
Helen was very friendly and helpful in the store and answered all of our questions. Delivery was quick and the delivery people were also great. They went out of their way to bring the new machine to exactly where we wanted it, to make it easier for us to install it.

Recent move required purchase of white and black goods so went to Dacombes who had always been very good to my parents. Excellent advice, service and pricing followed up by fantastic delivery and installation. Clear explanations of how to use and register for warranty etc. Can't recommend highly enough!

Shop local - lesson learned.

Delivered on time and with phone call to say they were on their way. Very helpful delivery team, who took care to ensure the old fridge freezer was taken out carefully, and new one brought in successfully. All packing removed and taken away without my asking.

No nonsense sales staff explained the basic functions of the machine and managed to fit in a delivery the same week. The delivery guys were very good and put the washing machine in our back breakfast room ready for us to remove packaging.

Could not fault the whole experience from the excellent staff at the shop right through to the two lovely installers who managed to carry out there work in the current heat wave.

It can be hard to sort out what fridge freezer you need. Working with Dacombes they made it a pleasure. We requested first fitting in the morning and the fitters rang to say they were on their way. It was a pleasure to have them and a good job was made with removal of our old integrated fridge freezer and the installation of our new Liebherr fridge freezer.

we purchased a fridge freezer and had it delivered today. the fitters, Ed and Justin, were on time and after a call telling us how long they would be arrived and fitted our appliance cleanly and professionally. we have used Dacombes on a number of occasions and wouldn't go anywhere else. I can't recomend them highly enough.

Dacombes of Wimborne are a true old fashioned store in customer care, but state of the art in products.
It’s our second purchase from Dacombes and it certainly will not be the last as they deliver on all fronts.
The whole store exudes confidence.
Even when they are busy they always manage to just touch base and explain the situation.

We’ve recently purchased a Miele washing machine from Dacombes in Wimborne. We decided months ago after buying 2 matching Neff cookers from them that we are not buying domestic items from any ‘multi’ shops ever again. Reason being ….their service is personal…helpful…know what they are talking about and the staff are nice people. Regarding these last two purchases from Dacombes we are very happy and my new Miele washing machine is incredible. My other old machine was around 20 to 25 years old and still going but I treated myself and glad I did. It’s an amazing piece of kit. I should have bought it earlier.
I had the washing machine delivered and fitted and my old machine taken away. That went smoothly too and the two delivery men did everything and they were both courteous and respectful of property like flooring etc …..In all it’s a lovely company to buy from. I would buy from them even if something was more expensive because they deserve it for their customer service.

The fitted fridge we purchased was installed with efficiency and care. They made sure that everything was done with the utmost of care and everything was tidy when they left. We would choose the services of this company again.

First time we have shopped at Dacombes since they merged with Holmans and found it a pleasant enough experience. Mark helpfully demonstrated the fridge freezer we were considering and subsequently ordered. On delivery day, as our existing one was built-in, we had the old one removed and the new one installed by Ed and Kieran who did an excellent job and soon had it up and running. It's only been a week or so and it appears to be working perfectly so far. Our old NEFF lasted 15 years, lets hope this one goes a bit further! Would definitely shop at Dacombes again.
