The service I received from start to finish was excellent. Everyone was very professional and kept me updated throughout the entire sale process.

On the day of completion, everything went very smoothly. I received a call first thing in the morning and was kept informed of progress throughout the day, which made the whole experience much less stressful.

I do not recommend Davison Law Solihull as my experience with them for the purchase of my home was not very good. They did not answer my queries effectively and kept on changing the people who were handling my file so I had to keep on explaining the situation to a different person from time to time.

The final bill was far more than what they initially quoted me because they add so much other things onto the bill which they did not notify me about at the start. Things like 'Fee for reviewing searches' is charged in addition to the searches being carried out. Which is bizarre that they don't tell people this from the start and it begs the question of what exactly is included in the 'Davisons Law Fees' as everything is still charged individually.

They also charge extra if the exchange and completion happens within the same week but they were the cause of the delay in the exchange, resulting in it being a few days before completion.

I have just sold a property through Auction and used Davison Law. Ceana has been handling my case and has done an amazing job! I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. It can be hard to find good solicitors but they have taken the time to respond to me extremely quickly at all times and have taken great care to explain things thoroughly. I am very pleased with them.

Davisons law seem to not return the £250 they "hold-back" from your fees. It seems something they don't do, as per their clause 31 in their T & Cs. It should be returned with 12 months. Generally interested about this issue of non return. Perhaps MD Gary would comment. £18.00 returned from 250 without a breakdown is extremely underhand and poor. Can you produce the breakdown from Sutton branch please.

I used Davisons Law to move house and I cannot recommend them enough. They were so helpful, responded quickly to emails and efficient in getting the process done quickly. It was 9 weeks from start to finish which is amazing considering I was in a chain.

The house we were buying was in westcroft and being dealt with by the branch in cannock. This chain was 6 long and was held up by this branch for 5 months (outrageous). They were still asking questions till 5 days before completion making the organisation of removal companies etc incredably stressful. We in fact didn't know that completion was confirmed until 2 days before the event. As the searches I understand take 6 weeks why did it take 5 months to complete the questions ?

Dan Preston at Davisons solicitors was absolutely outstanding in dealing with my conveyancing and buying and selling of my properties. He was always on hand for calls, emails and queries and it was obvious that his end goal was to ensure the client was given the best possible service. My sale nearly never went through due to some complications yet Dan pulled out all the strings worked late nights to make the completion date happen. Davisons are most definetly the only solicitors I will be using for any conveyancing in the future.

I’m more interested in a professional experience than a great one! The ‘initiation’ was confusing - different people, not knowing who they were and what their role was. However, I was finally allocated Nathan who was friendly and explained various procedures as I hadn’t sold a flat before, more complicated than a house!
Completed last Friday- very happy dealing with him. We have four more flats in this development which I would like to sell eventually so will be back!

This is the first time selling a House and I found both the staff in the Leamington office, and Nadia on the phone and email, to be efficient, friendly and so helpful.

The 1 star is just because the sale eventually went through (sort of… still waiting on post completion docs, 7 months after completion) but the communication from them has been utterly embarrassing. The sale took 3 months longer than promised on an empty flat with no chain and exceptional response time and service from the seller’s solicitor (wish I used them instead!) Slow, often no response at all to emails. Had to chase for nearly every single requirement. I’ve felt like the absolute lowest of their priorities and the whole process has been very frustrating. I looped in the branch manager at one point which is the only thing that got some momentum going, but he was quickly taken off the chain and the communication got worse again (funny that). Would not recommend these guys at all.
