Update 17 Feb in reply to DQC response - your response is inaccurate, as the customer I DID NOT change the date/or time of vehicle collection/delivery, it was the transporter who wished to move the arrangement outside the originally stated timescale, otherwise they wanted to charge more than the quote because they could not arrange another chargeable job for the return journey.

Simply ignoring all communications from customers who have paid for a service is not acceptable.

Only wish it was possible to give a negative score!

First thing to note is that DQC are only intent on getting their booking fee from you. If there are any problems thereafter with their 'recommended' transporter you have to sort them out for yourself, DQC claim they are only 'an introducer'. Furthermore, they take no responsibility if, through their system, the transporter you choose is completely useless, unsuitable or even downright incompetent.

I booked a transporter through them to collect a car, all within a defined timescale. Transporter subsequently was unable to meet the stated deadline unless I paid more than agreed fee, so the job was 'cancelled'. No other transporter on DQC bid for the job so I requested a refund of the £60 booking fee. That request was ignored, as were all subsequent emails over a period of several weeks. Fortunately, I paid the booking fee via Paypal, so I was able to raise a complaint through them and they refunded my money immediately after investigation.

Subsequently I booked the job through another company (anyvan) who were competitive, communicated superbly and did the job perfectly.

Avoid DQC at all costs, or if you do use them ensure you pay your booking fee via a method which will let you make a claim if DQC and/or its transporters fail to meet their obligations.

James got us sorted when our original persons can broke down just before Christmas. Found me an alternative transporter the same day who was brilliant and managed to get the job done just before Christmas break. Thanks

Like Jessica we have been ripped off by this man. An armchair was picked up from Hull to be delivered by this man for delivery to Scotland. The pick up was two days after hers and likewise the mobile phone was switched off two days later and remains so till the present. James from DQC has tried to assist us to no avail. I would, however, question their procedures in putting unproven companies on their website, collecting the deposits, then when the company defaults with the goods do little to rectify the problem in a positive way other by advising that the police be contacted. Not easy from Scotland.I did attempt to contact Bolton Police as Wadez Logistics are registered there but so far the police has a recorded message that they are too busy at present to answer their phone so I am not confident that this avenue will be productive.

Kelvin Wadesango of Wadez Logistics Limited, the driver who collected my goods (6 1930s doors and handles) from Farnborough on 23rd November and has since gone AWOL. His phone has been turned off since two days after collection and I know that he has also collected and taken goods belonging to others. Case is still unresolved. James from DQC is trying to help but unfortunately it seems there is only so much that can be done. There are no vehicle licence plates on record and no second contact number for the driver. Apparently I will not be refunded and the loss of goods is my own responsibility. The driver can still not be contacted or located. I'm trying the police and the insolvency help page on the .gov website but none of these options are looking hopeful.

I would like to to thank Val at Big lpg Automated services for providing a professional service at the cheapest offered price of all that quoted, our vehicle was picked up at the arranged time and transported from Newbury to Manchester on time with location updates along the way, great service would highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish,G1Removals rung up when he accepted the job to introduce himself as Gareth, told me a time when he would be there to pick it up very prompt, rung me up when he had loaded up the kit car told me estimated time he would be at my house 198 miles away , spot on with his estimate very good piece of kit he is using to transport vehicles, I would very definitely recommend him to anyone else very professional.

I had a bad experience with a previous courier company ,so went to Deliver Quote Compare and spoke with James, who went out of his way to explain and make things so much easier for me ,as it can be very daunting to use a service for the first time

Quotes were all ludicrously expensive and the day after inputting my details I started getting a whole host of scam calls claiming to be hmrc etc. Don't trust them with your information.

Great Service, excellent communication. Collected a Sofa from Coventry to Aberdeen. Completed by Drew from Fast and not Furious Couriers. Gentlemen. Assisted in unloading and getting into the house.

Originally gave 1* due to disgusting behaviour of the courier.
The company should not be penalised for his behaviour as the ssytem and process is good.
Customer services contacted me to apologise for their driver who accepted my order and money and then said he couldn't collect for a further 2 days which was ridiculous. The driver's behaviour was terrible and I wouldn't have him work for me.
That being said, the customer service to resolve the issue was very good i hope the poor service from the driver won't be experienced to another customer in future.

We got there in the end. Very helpful crew and did eventually get me sorted although communication was a bit slow between agents and couriers when i was working on a very tight deadline. All said i would use them again as they did fulfill my needs.
