I had to leave the forum due to the Emmerdaily clique ganging up on me. I have never encountered such nasty individuals online. Shellysue, Turbs, Grols, Sorcha_healy27 and Stantheostrich are a cancer on the forum. The moderators remove their offensive posts but never take any action against them. I had to leave for my mental health. They have a Facebook group that they use to target posters. Stay away!

I used to visit the forum on and off, not anymore. The members will shout abuse at you if you have a different opinion to theirs.

I used to be a member years ago but asked the moderators to remove me because I was sick to death of some of the obnoxious people on there who act like they own the forums. I still read it occasionally now and the same culprits are still at it, lording it over those with a differing opinion to them and being thoroughly unpleasant. A horrible place.

An absolutely garbage website that has become nothing more than badly written marketing copy for soap operas and streaming services.

Their advice section is just akin to bullying. Absolute pieces of human garbage like user "P+3" who is obsessed with COVID, patronising others and general loftiness. Scum of the earth the place is. Left wing loonfest.

It's been going down hill for years, especially after removing General Discussion on the forums. I was a member for 14 years, but they removed my posts for daring to have a different opinion to the echo chamber, then banned me without even a warning or message when I asked why my posts were removed. I tried to log in again today, but nope, I'm still "temporarily banned"....which is clearly a perma ban at this point.

It's not even a shell of it's former self at this point. It's only users are those that conform to the moderators ideals and those that have been on the site for over a decade. If it disappeared forever, it wouldn't be missed by many anymore.

I have been trying to sign up for an account in the forums for five years now
Three separate ISP's and five different company email

A Google one
A BT internet one
An iCloud one
A Plusnet one
Not a single one of them has been accepted, I am unsure what the criteria for being accepted is but it needs amending, it shouldn't be this hard to get a forum account
Why does it feel like a massive challenge?
It's ridiculous as all I want to do is chat with other like minded people about TV programs but nope, apparently I don't qualify.

Their forum moderators are an embarrassment. Why have a forum if they only accept opinions that fit their own political beliefs and viewpoint? Beyond pathetic. Nothing remotely incendiary or bigoted in a post, expressed articulately, gets you banned from the site. This is as bad as North Korea – you are barred from expressing an opinion that doesn't suit the regime. Snowflakes are running the asylum. A forum only in name in that it bars people who express opinions it doesn't agree with. Everything that is wrong with the UK today can be found among these so called moderators.

I saw the film last night, and I thought she overplayed the part, and she was a real misery boots. I found it So very hard to hear , as well.

Just read an article by Emily Stedman, about Theo James......
She clearly has absolutely no idea about the man she is writing about.
Talks about his 'TV appearances' and mentions how he loosely appeared in 'White Lotus'..... No mention of being the male lead in the major trilogy 'Divergent' film series....
Digital Spy was bad enough to begin with and now this??? Who hires the writers for this platform? Absolute disgrace from day 1.

I have been trying to become a member for literally years (no really!) so that I can take part in the forums but I never hear back.
Tried different e-mail and user names and from different locations but never accepted.
What gives?

This site constantly posts essentially nothing burgers. if you google say something on the lines of "when will the next season of (said show) release" they will 100% have a post saying "release date and everything you need to know about season whatever of said show. Then after you already opened it and you are forced to scroll and skim to find the message. they'll say it is unknown when or if the next season episode game series or whatever it is will be made. They just have constant misleading titles so much so that I was willing to take my time to write up this terrible review which likely wont even do anything im just that damn annoyed. screw you digital spy and your lying misleading business model. get permanently black listed and Im well protected so you gained nothing from me visiting your website anyways. F U

Terrible forums. Especially the soaps. Posters are blatantly racist and mods do nothing. Bullying by racist mysogynistic old men is rife. You know they are old because of the language they use. There is a group who gang up and bully people they don't like. The worst and the nastiest posters are Shellyshue and Melephuunk. They round up all the others to gaud. bait and also sadly stalk others. After further reading some of the reviews on here I suspect the mods who are also posters do their fair share of bullying. No wonder they don't do anything about the bullying. From experience the soaps and advice forums are mainly populated by fascists, racists and old people who have nothing better to do with their time.

Where to begin.

some months ago my sister was using the ds forum forum. my sisters behaviour changed and a tragedy unfolded. this was due to bullying by a group of people on the the ds forum forum. several people were involved with the main culprit being someone called 'moanyliza' i saw the bullying my sister was subject to and how this continued when she started posting in a different forum. as today is the six months anniversary of what happened then i felt it was time to give people some insight into this and to prepare the site owner. i approached various media outlets some months ago and one major network were inteterested in my story. they were looking into bullying on lesser known social media platforms not the usual facebook insta twiter ticktock etc with their help enough evidence of bullying has been collected to warrant a story that will become evident in the coming months. the media story coming over the next few months will reveal identities of these people and they will be contacted first to give a right to reply. this has been my labour of love for the past six months in order to stop what happened to my sister happening to anyone else. you have no idea who you are dealing with on your forum and have to take responsibility for how people and staff on your forum behave. i was initially angry but directed that anger to the work ive done with the media over the last six months. this is a genuine review that i wish id never had to write. forrunately my sister made a recovery from the tragic action she took. i hope the people involved will change how they operate their forum. i fail to see how they cant change things once the story is published.

edit: DSforums holds sensitive imformation about all members. you sign up with your real name and therefore are able to put in a freedom of information request relating to any information about you that is created and/or stored on their website including any behind the scenes communications amomgst staff. DSforums are legally obliged to provide such information so put your request in.

I don't have an account with digital spy yet I get sent loads of crappie I don't want or neither need its becoming a pain on my phone STOP SENDING ME CRAP DS how the he do I stop it popping up and filling my phone browser with random crap from crappie soap sites

Used to love digital spy but the constant "register to continue" has drove me to the limit and i will no longer bother trying to read the forums. Dissapointing.
