Dingtone is a clearly publicly cheating and scammer company to 90% customers money by not providing any of their subscribed service and even not refunding the customer’s money. Apple is partner with them in this fraud scam and both companies are making money ignoring customers support at their lowest ethical business level in the market . Apple has recently gone down to their lowest customer protection support level customers do not want to buy apple products because no refund policy anymore. Sumerjaindel@gmail

App is not loading on my phone why ? they are not sending code when needed. You can't use this number for short time use but not for long uses... number getting declined for some providers.

After I bought their subscription, I tried to make a call and that’s when the real problem started. They said I needed to verify my number, so I selected my country and tried to verify — but it kept saying ‘failed to send code’ every time. Why don’t they ask for verification before taking the payment?
This is the worst experience. Never install this app — they will take your money. Total scam and fraud app.

I am writing this review to warn others about a severe issue with fraudulent charges. This app charged my iTunes account for a phone number that was never delivered. The transaction showed an "error," yet the full amount was immediately deducted from my payment method.

Furthermore, any credit you purchase within the app seems to be at high risk. I experienced my credit balance being drained overnight without any usage on my part. The service is unreliable, but their billing system is far too effective at taking money.

This is a serious pattern of behavior that warrants investigation by the Apple team. I feel completely scammed and would never recommend this app to anyone.

Dingtone is definitely the VOIP to go with. Give it a try and you'll see why. Top notch service, I have been using it since 2017 and I just love it.

U hav a real issue with ur app. Whats wrong with it . If it does nor work why add are playing .force to watch 3 4 or more than 5 time and dont add credit, forany thing that network coomection problem. I alway for to repot . Email nothing helps . Trustme iam fed up and wanti g to know whats wrong with it. Nobody responds. Doesnot refrest . Onlyays add . Bitcoin and crypto add and every tume force me to download currupt file. Canany body suggest me any other app whwere i can call from. Annonymouslyor with out giving my family number

Scam. The phone numbers don’t work. The support team doesn’t exist. You can’t contact them, when you try to send a message to get help, you get an error message. Waste of time and money

Purchased credit through the app. Billed by Google, yet service never provided. Won't let me log in on website.

I would have given zero but the review won’t let me. This is a scam DO NOT USE IT. Paid for credits, tried to make a call, they “supposedly” sent me access codes on numerous occasions, none received. Result, I can’t make a call, they have my money. There would appear to be NO WAY to contact them, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM.

This platform is a scam. I bought a number that is supposed to work for SMS & WhatsApp registration. When i tried to register it as a WhatsApp chatbot number, I was surprised to get a message saying the number is already on WhatsApp. I then manually confirmed that was indeed the case, by trying to acces the number via WhatsApp web. I tweeted them on X, then sent an email. They completely ignored me on X, and the stringed me along on email, asking ridiculous questions in such long a time it means we could only have one interaction per day. Eventually they just stopped responding on email altogether, and up to now they have not refunded me. Since I really needed this number, I ended up buying the number from an alternative service called quackr.io, and I was able to use the number immediately after registration. I would urge anyone to stay clear of this scamming, fraudulent, thieving service. They still owe me!!

Promise was a US phone number. But it's a virtual phone number and the company I needed this for doesnt accept virtual numbers. The customer service answered my complaints telling me I had to pick another number that wasn't virtual from THEIR numbers, like WHAT?! How the heck do I know that?! Ive asked for reimbursement but they kept trying to get me to pick another number, when they won't work cause they are all virtual and ocmpanies do not work with Dingtone that i have worked with. Total waste of money, and no reimbursement. How can this be legal to have in the AppStore?!

I purchased a US phone number from Dingtone thinking I could use it internationally, like they advertise. After paying, they immediately locked my account and demanded ID and a local US address that matches the phone number. I’m not even from the US – I live in Bulgaria – and this was NEVER clearly stated before purchase.

Now I can’t access the number I paid for, and support is completely useless or unresponsive. It feels like a scam – they take your money and then block access unless you meet ridiculous, hidden conditions.

This app is misleading and dishonest. Avoid it if you value your time and money. I’m reporting this to my bank and filing complaints wherever I can. Total scam behavior.

My 2nd review. I must warn people. I am straight out saying that the 5 star reviews on this SCAM app must be placed by the company itself. No one would review this as good at any level. Through my work I was able to trace ISP and telephone number. I got a VERY friendly chap who was clearly expecting a different call. I told him who was calling, he immediately hung up. On redialing the number was already " not in use ". Scam and likely criminal. I invite them to sue me if they think otherwise. Gee, see? Atchoo.

Sent email support that I want to cancel my account. No response. Scam!

So everytime i try to have a verification code sent to my dingtone messages it wont display the code because it trys to force me to pay for upgraded service otherwise it wont let you verify accounts with your free dingtone number. DINGTONE IS NOT FREE.

I signed up to dingtone purchased 200 credits for $AUD 8. It lasted 10 minutes. Telstra charges are better. FYI

I would stay away from this phone app! I thought that this was supposed to be a private burner phone app! This is not as I sent messages with this app and my regular phone number popped up on the messages that I sent. This app is truly garbage do not waste your time or money on it!
