Disappointed
Sadly I am still waiting on an order placed on the 27th May! I have emailed twice with no reply, spoke to customer service who never rang me back, then rang them again a few days later (8th July) to be told the tiles had not been ordered on time by themselves, resulting in a further 4 week delay being incurred on my order.

Hi Kathie. Apologies for the delay with your tiles. This has been due to the fact that they were still in production with the manufacturer, not because we didn’t order them on time. We were unable to order them any sooner due to the delay with the manufacturer. We did explain this to you in the telephone conversation last week. We also called you on another occasion, leaving a voicemail but you did not respond. Once again, sorry for the delay with the tiles, which is beyond our control, but your tiles will be with you in a few weeks. It’s unfortunate that it isn’t within the initial timeframe that was expected. All the best with your project.
Garage Floor Tiling Project
Wanted to significantly improve the flooring in my garage, found the Dotti Dark Grey porcelain commercial quality tiles at a very competitive price. Covered 25sqm with ease, delivery and customer service has been excellent. Product is impressive and now have a massively upgraded garage floor.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful service, tiles were delivered and they were all different sizes in terms of thickness and width. Complained to direct tile warehouse and was told that they checked the ones they had in their warehouse and they were fine. Therefore was denied a refund. Lost £300 worth of tiles. Terrible company. Useless customer service. Do not order from them.

Hello Nadaiaalq. We are sorry that your project hasn't gone to plan, but we are satisfied that we provided suitable tiles.
The tiles you ordered are one of our best selling ranges and we have had no other problems reported from the batch. You explained to us that your tiles had been laid already and then taken up due to poor workmanship from your tiler, which is why we wouldn't have refunded them. We also explained to your tiler that the tiles would line up if they were tiled with the arrows on the back pointing the same way.
We always pass feedback on and will certainly do that with yours. Sorry again that your project hasn't gone the way you wanted it to.
Porcelain tiles cheaper than plastic
I was looking for some garage floor tiles.
Direct Tile had the one's I had seen on a car garage review site.
My local Tile firm were almost double the price.
I recieved the tiles on a pallet and not one was broken.
From order to delivery was one week .
Very pleased with finished job.

Great sales got the tiles when they said on time good products no delivery problems although no tiles damaged packaging could have been a little better....
.But my 1st place to go back to for tiles

Didnt need a big pallet
The tiles were delivered with huge pallet. Didnt need this for such a small box of tiles. The delivery wouldn't take it back. I don't have a way of disposing of it!

Good morning Mr Panchmatia. Our priority is to ensure that our tiles are delivered as carefully as possible to prevent any breakages, and therefore saving any inconvenience for our customers.
The total weight of the tiles you ordered was 38.5 kilos and the only way we could have got them delivered safely to you was via a pallet service. Unfortunately Palletways do not have an option to take the pallet away we're afraid.
We hope it isn't too much of an incovenience for you. You could leave it outside your property with a note attached that's it's free? Alternatively, there are a variety of sites including Gumtree, Freecycle and Facebook Marketplace where you could list the pallet for free if collected, or local school or community group might be able to collect and put it to good use?
And we hope you are happy with your tiles too. Good luck with your project!

Needed my tiles quite urgently and I would like to thank Simon at this company for all his help. They had a problem with the couriers and Simon made sure I got the tiles as quick as he could. He even called out of hours to make sure everything arrived in time. I will definitely use this company again thanks to him. The quality of my marble effect tiles were great for such a cheap price too.

Hi John, apologies for the late reply, we wanted to investigate this further. As mentioned, unfortunately we do not supply from that manufacturer any more, and it's unfortunate that we can't now supply the two tiles you require, apologies for this. However, our records show that you placed the order in September, not a year ago. At that time when you reported the damages via email, you told us you could complete the job without the tiles being replaced, so we didn't issue replacements and refunded the two tiles for you. We would not have done this ‘begrudgingly’, breakages in transit do happen and we always refund them. According to our records, your next communication wasn't until December to chase replacements, and by then we no longer dealt with the supplier.
We are sorry that we cannot provide two further tiles for you, but are happy to share details of the manufacturer if that will help you to find replacements.

Grey patterned tiles
In December 2018, me and my now husband bought our first home together. It is a new build and what drew us to this particular house was the kitchen! We had a very clear vision of how we wanted the kitchen to look but the builders tile options just weren’t doing it for us. So we set to work scrolling through the internet looking for the perfect patterned tiles for the walls. We came across Direct Tile Warehouse and the Nikea Grey patterned tiles. We were instantly in love. The tiles were extremely good value for money and were delivered very quickly with no breakages. We were kept informed during the delivery process which was extremely useful as we needed to deliver them to the builders once received. Our builders kindly tiled the walls for us and honestly we were blown away with how amazing they looked. They are exactly what we wanted!
We cannot fault the service from DTW. Great quality products, at great prices delivered safely and efficiently. We would gladly use DTW again but until then we will admire our beautiful Nikea Grey patterned tiles.

Never again
Never again ! Paid the extra to have them delivered a day early. Arrived late afternoon with the pallett company announcing they had been in again.transit all day. Pallett was damaged as were 120/600 tiles. Several 'phone calls and emails logged. Repeatedly asked for pics which were sent again and again. Tiler commented that the survivors were not consistent in size. 14 days later, still NO refund.

Hi Moira. Apologies for the delay in response to this. We are sorry that the tiles got broken in transit by the transport company. We needed to ask for more photos so we could try and see how many tiles were damaged, and your refund was put through on 4th January. We constantly review our delivery providers and have passed on feedback to them so hopefully breakages like this do not occur again.
Really happy with the tiles I’ve bought…
Really happy with the tiles I’ve bought but my bathroom installation was delayed due to COVID (local lockdown/self isolating etc) which has meant that it has only just been finished. I’ve got a few boxes of tiles leftover but the store aren’t accepting them back as it is outside of the return policy timeframes. Really disappointing.

Transformed downstairs toilet
Our downstairs toilet suite was about 20 years old so looking tired and as such a small room wanted to try and make as light as possible. We went for a bathroom suite which had a smaller sink and also a back to the wall toilet to hide pipes and make it look neater...The bathroom suite and accessories all came from Victoria Plumbing.
We then used Direct Tile Warehouse for both floor and wall tiles. We chose the white tiles as liked the large size which helped create the effect of a larger room. As we have wood flooring throughout the house we also liked the wood effect porcelain tiles. We wanted a simple but stunning room , one that wont date and is easy to keep clean...
The service from yourselves was great as even though a long wait for floor tiles when ordered they actually came a lot sooner than required.
We absolutely love the room, my favourite is the floor tiles. The plumber was also very pleased with the result and will definitely be using yourselves again when we do the ensuite bathroom later in the year.

Gutter grouter revisited

Further to my post ‘gutted grouter’ I’m now pleased to advise that direct tiles have reversed their decision, and have allowed me to return the unused products for an exchange.... so a big thank you 😊... David was really helpful.... the tiles , service and delivery on our initial order all went well... and we are now really happy with our purchase.... thank you
