Excellent customer service

Fantastic prices, superb product selection

I bought a Impey Soho screen from DKB - the screen was more than £300 CHEAPER than other websites, I wish I lived in Doncaster to visit the showroom! customer service was amazing I phoned to ask various questions, the delivery arrived in great time. I would highly recommend. also do call customer service as they have a number of websites and without a doubt they will have what you're looking for even if you can't find it on the website! Brilliant!

Great communication and customer service. Great product. There was a small problem with my order that was not the fault of DKB but they resolved it quickly and efficiently & over the weekend too! I highly recommend this company.

Avoid at all costs...

10 days for delivery and no response to emails. False information provided, along with weak excuses.

Poor all-round.

In my opinion,Director loves to apportion blame to all other parties, rather than be accountable for his own mismanagement. Aggressive and downright rude individual. Director demanded I deleted my honest review, to which I said no. Now he chooses to harras me via email. Bully boy tactics don't work on me, but keep trying if it makes you feel any better. Personally, I think you should spend your time on something a little more productive, but the choice is yours. Clearly, the truthful review has exposed your abysmal attitude and what I see as your deceptive undertakings. I feel some management courses may help you with "some" of your issues.

Face up to the facts. You cannot cover up the truths with pathetic and false comments.

Avoid at all costs, for your own sakes.

Some time has passed after being in contact with Trustpilot with regards this review from AK--- (keeps changing) or AK-47 when 1st posted his reply. As AK is getting personal and Trustpilot are still investigating this review, I’m showing some of the email exerts sent to AK--- which clearly shows that we consider all customers as important showing that we are sometimes let down by the supplier.

As you will see, I’ve no idea where he gets 10 days from. AK had to agree to our delivery terms before even placing the order (Delivery was on the 5th working day, 3 days before the 8th day):

Delivery Terms ‘Stocked items are normally delivered in 1-8 working days of receiving the order. Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays are not classed as working days.’

With regards ‘apportion blame to other parties’ was indeed Vectaire’s error not ours as we’d been initially told 2-3 working days from placing the order, passing this onto AK. This ended up being an extra 2 days (4 days lost due to the Easter Bank Holiday) due to staff shortages as I found out later and have since apologised for any inconvenience.

With regards ‘aggressive and downright rude’, this is completely wrong as it was AK--- phoned a number of times but on 2 occasions prior to the delivery, being rude and aggressive to 2 of my staff. On these occasions AK was making demands, rude and aggressive, so I had to take over both calls. I had taken previous phone calls and he was no different to me even trying to make him understand that we were trying to help.

With regards ‘director demanded I deleted my honest review’. This is what was said ‘I’d appreciate it if you can take off the 1* reviews & just to remind you that the delivery was direct from Vectaire for a faster delivery, not ourselves’. This is in no way demanding, just asking as he was being very unreasonable referring partly to the delivery timescale. After numerous emails AK has offered to 'modify or remove the review' for payment. We don't give in to blackmail.

With regards ‘harras me via email’, we were simply replying to his emails in a professional manor which is more than can be said from the replies from AK. The last email was sent from AK.

With regards ‘bully boy tactics’. Not in my nature I’m afraid as I keep things factual and professional. You’ve only got to look back on the various and emails and remember how the phone calls went.

We've reviewed this customer's order & can't see that we could have done much more.

We are a family business trading since 1981, 1990 from our current location & pride ourselves in looking after our valued customers. We intend to be here for many more years to come. DKB

Very competitive priced products.
I placed an order for three radiators of which two were from Reina, on a Saturday night.
On Sunday I found out that the manufactured Reina products get measured at a delta rating of T70.
Reina is clearly a dodgy manufacturer providing there output rating based on delta T70. Products that conform will have a CE mark (Conformité Européenne) but importantly B2-EN442 states by law, that all hydronic radiator and towel rail outputs are tested and presented at Delta T 50° or ΔT 50°.Luckily Mick from DKB team was happy to cancel the order and provide a full refund on Monday. It was clearly not the fault of DKB that Reina doesn't even make it clear that there output delta rating of their radiators is based on a questionable T70 basis rather than the standard T50...Thanks again to the DKB Team for a brilliant customer service!

Avoid!!..disgraceful customer service

Had to return a metal toilet roll holder that was scratched and defective because the ring at the top was misaligned. Sent photos of the defects, they agreed to collect it. Got sent an EXTREMELY RUDE email from the company director when they got the product back telling me that they had fixed the defects and that I should’ve done that myself by polishing the scratches and “bending it back into position” which is not even possible. Also stating that they will cover the courier cost as a “goodwill gesture”!! I told them in no uncertain terms that their behaviour was completely unacceptable and that they should have fixed these issues themselves before sending it out instead of expecting customers to be experts in fixing product defects. They also stupidly stated that the product they sent me was perfect whilst also stating how they corrected the issues with it?!! I won’t ever purchase from them again.

We tried all we could to help as we pride ourselves on customer service being a family business. I tried to resolve this with you to rectify the 2 issues & take offence as I wasn't rude at all, just doing my best to help you as this was so easily resolved at your end.

Firstly they weren't scratches, simply dried on polish which came straight off had this been attempted. New items often have polish residue on the surface. Secondly, the ring just needed a slight twist by hand to straighten. I'm very sorry that this wasn't checked before sending out as we don't have time to check everything, which would have been rectified before sending out had we noticed this. I hope this helps to clarify. DKB

Rip-off merchants

Returned a kitchen bin that wouldn't fit in the cupboard. It was damaged in transit, but they wouldn't refund, as they said it was my responsibility. I returned it in the same poor packaging they sent it in. Rude and abrupt communication by email. Belatedly read these reviews afterwards; I should have read them first. Now they've got a bin with a tiny dent they can resell at a small discount, and I'm 60 quid out of pocket. didn't get a refund from Hermes as they said the packaging was inadequate. I sent it back in the same packaging I received it in from DKB Elegance.

I'm sorry that you're not happy, but the unwanted bin did get damaged once returned back to ourselves. Our T's & C's do state that we can only refund on items returned back in perfect condition. We sent you a few pictures of the box & bin so that you could claim back from the carrier. You would have got your money back, so hence not out of pocket. We advised at the time via email not to return items back with Hermes & Royal Mail due to damages & loses.
