DNA Protected Avis 

Easy to order two Testing Kits for our dogs online, both arrived next day. We took sampling (15/12/23) as per instruction and returned them. After a period of time we received one result back on (04/01/24) the other took a little longer due to having a re-testing of sample (17/01/24). In between the two result dates I contacted Cellmark to find out the delay on the second result and was informed that sometimes this happens and if a re-test is required what would be required. Nice to have our dogs DNA Protected hopefully in the future dog owners will need to comply as like now having them Micro Chip.

Saw this on T V. New lab puppy, horrified to see thieves cut out microchip. The DNA is at least an attempt to deter thieves, fixed sticker to car dog cage. Excellent and speedy service, I would highly recommend. Suggest maybe sending a circular to every vet practice detailing scheme. I have sent details to my vets, maybe they will encourage others to apply. 10 star service, well done, very pleased.

Met the company at a police open day and was impressed with the idea behind the product. It was easy to follow the instructions which were included in the pack. Sent off the sample and all done in 3 weeks, got the result back and stored. Should anything happen I can go straight to the police with my dogs DNA.

I had an extremely positive experience of using the DNA Protected service to register the DNA of my puppy on their DNA database. Highlights included:
+ The test kit arrived promptly and had very clear instructions which were easy to follow, the whole process took about 5 minutes
+ The package included a pre-paid envelope so it was easy and quick to return a sample
+ Prompt confirmation that my puppy had been registered with the service.

To improve the service further, I would encourage the team to consider providing owners with an online account so that they can quickly update details about their pet and their owner without needing to contact the support team.

In the event of my dog getting lost or stolen, it's a reasonable price for having your dog returned to its legal owner.

The whole process was very easy from ordering the kit to taking the DNA swab of my dog mouth. And then the result came back and activating the kit number was very easy once I found the number on the outside of the box not the same as customer number. My dog is wearing the DNA pendent on her collar and I hope to never have to use the service. But if she was to get lost or stolen I have a really hope of getting her back now as they say DNA cannot be changed a Chip can be removed not DNA.
