Dreams - Gloucester Avis 

Yesterday Boxing Day I went to Dreams in Gloucester at 10am opening time as advised by the Sales Person I had been dealing with who said it was not possible to Book an Appointment for Boxing Day, on entering the store I went straight to the Sales Person to deal with my purchase as I knew exactly what I wanted and I was going to spend £1500 to £2000 as this Sales Person had been very helpful perviously but yesterday treated me very rudely and said I had to wait or have another Sales Person deal with me. Shortly after I spoke to this Sales Person a couple entered the store and he dealt with them even though I spoke to the Sales Person first, the lady clearly knew the Sales Person as they called their name out, possibly they were spending more money than me.

I will not be using Dreams Gloucester again after the Rude treatment by their Sales Person. After a quick look around I left the Store and I will not be returning.

The service I received at the Gloucester Branch was excellent from the moment my daughter and I went into the shop until we left having purchased my new bed .

On entering Dreams, we weren’t pounced on, which was very refreshing. We asked for help and Jack was excellent. Very friendly ,approachable, knowledgeable, and there was no pressure to purchase. My husband and I went on the Sleepmatch and we chose a Sleepeezee bed, as our last bed was that brand. Jack explained the various differences between the firm and medium mattresses. We went away to think about it. And returned a week later to purchase the Dreameezee Sophia Kingsize mattress. Jack sat down with us and went through everything, again with no pressure to purchase any add on’s. I did purchase an anti-allergy mattress protector, a side sleeping pillow and the Bed Cover. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. This was because Jack was so invested in making sure that we felt comfortable throughout the whole experience.
I am now looking forward to taking delivery of our new mattress in two weeks time. All I can say is, it was a Dream to deal with Jack and a dream to shop at Dreams!!!

Picking the bed we wanted was a simple process

My daughter and I were looking for a new bed for my disabled husband.
Your member of staff, Kevin, was most helpful and took note of our special needs. This all made our purchase an easy experience.
The arrangements for disposal of the old mattress and base was undertaken very smoothly. The two staff dealing with this process were most helpful and very polite.
All in all, it was distresss free.

We visited the Gloucester store and were welcomed by Kevin who was friendly, professional, knowledgeable but not pushy.

I could not fault dream's in Gloucester the staff were very polite and helpful I found the bed I liked and the day came for delivery they rang the day before to check I would be in . The 2 delivery men took my old bed and rubbish put the new bed up they were polite and helpful the whole experience was amazing well done dream's. When I slept in the bed it was fantastic the best night's sleep I'd had for months.

Absolutely love the new bed, exactly what we asked for in every way. Harry at the Gloucester store definately deserves a pay rise and was so friendly and efficient, have taken one star off as our free mattress protector was forgotten and we have to go back to the store to collect it.

When we arrived at the shop in Gloucester. Harry approach us as soon as entered with warm welcome, smile and energetic. Mr Harry is very helpful, happy to demonstrate, explain different types of bed and to answer questions, at the same time allowing us time to look and make up our own minds. After some time, he came and check everything is ok or do you need any help. We bought a Ex display bed frame. Even though it was dismantled and packed in a perfect way. I am very impressed with the packing. Hopefully we are planning to buy our next bed frame also very soon for our master bedroom. Delivery was perfect, day before reminder email, message and delivery day got a call and confirmed the timings and availability. Delivery was sharp. Finally, Kevin also nice and explain about the mattress at the end.

I visited the Gloucester Store on Saturday 28 September 2024 to collect a Tempur pillow which was out of stock when I bought my new mattress two weeks previously. I was looked after by Kevin who showed me samples of fabric so I could choose the best pillow protector for me. Kevin also advised how best to manage my price match refund as my mattress delivery was due on 30/9/24. Kevin is excellent at his job. He made sure I was happy with every aspect of my purchase and because I couldn’t manage to carry my goods to my car (I use a stick) he offered to carry them to my car for me. This was wonderful! It was lovely to be on the receiving end of such thoughtful Customer Care. I thoroughly recommend Dreams Gloucester and the staff there go the extra mile in helpfulness. If you live in the area this is the store for your new bed or mattress. The staff are excellent and I can’t rate them highly enough. 5* ‘s isn’t enough!
