While on holiday in Sicily and staying at the Mangias brucoli resort on the 22nd April 26 they celebrated Earth day in a very special way.
Lead and hosted by Lucia the night light was embraced with candles and live soft music played beautifully in the background by Duart.
A moment to reflect and respect the Earth.

They use ai. From a 2023 climate change article, ironically, they have used an ai image of a polar bear; because it is so difficult to find a real polar bear photo out of the thousands that already exist. In a newer article (2025) they write about ai in a more educated light. They do mention it’s negative impacts, but they began the article off by listing what they have used ai for; a series of questions that also could have easily been a google search. In another 2025 article they have used another ai header image. Another ironic example is their 2024 article on hydro power. Once again with an ai header image. I could keep going. But I believe this is enough as it is. Do not support them! Support environmental sites local to your area or written by actual scientists!
I ordered a shirt on line on May 5. Earth Day store said it would be delivered May 22 - May 24. I complained to them that this was slow. They apologized. I waited for an update or delivery. It is now May 29. The tracking shows the package is in Latvia somewhere. They did not respond to my last two emails asking about delivery. I finally contacted my credit card to cancel the order.
I have tried to cancel my donation to Earthday but there is no information on how to do this on their website, so I emailed several times over the course of 2-3 weeks with no replies and so then I phoned Earthday and they do not have anyone answering the phone. I do not trust this organisation as they have unethical practices. has anyone ever succeeded in cancelling a donation to Earthday.
