Zdecydowanie nie polecam! Proszę omijać tą wyporzyczalnie z daleka. Zarezerwowaliśmy samochód ale nie został nam wydany, ponieważ spóźniliśmy się godzinę z odbiorem. Pan w recepcji, bardzo nieprzyjemny powiedział, że musimy dopłacić 600 funtów, jeśli chcemy dostać samochód. Od początku nie chciał nam pomóc. Drugi Pan menadżer, bardziej pomocny, chciał pomóc ale akurat szedł do domu i zostawil nas w rękach tego nieprzyjemnego. Dodatkowo Polacy przed nami również mieli problemy, bo zdaniem tego bardzo nieprzyjemnego Pana wynajęli za mały samochód bo bagaże się nie chciały zmieścić do bagażnika i też musieli dopłacić 70 funtów za większy samochód. Moim zdaniem ten Pan jest zwykłym rasistą.
Dodam tylko, że nasz samochód, którego nie dostaliśmy był dostępny i czekał parkingu ale zabrakło woli pomocy.
Jeszcze raz nie polecam!

Awful

Awful! This place is awful there cars are beat up they don’t take care of them or fill them up with gas when you get them. Unprofessional employees who smoke while they are doing a inspection. All around awful experience.

Poor service

Too much pressure to take out extra insurance when I had proof that I had bought my own! Car was not the car I booked, staff are rude and do not appear to realise they are in a customer service role! Inconvenient location! Would not recommend.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchase. I am being pursued for £30 which I have been told is because I went over the border in N Ireland. I was not formally asked what my travel plans were however I did chat with the representative at pickup to outline my trip. Upon return of the vehicle I was told that because the desk staff did not record my plans that I would have to pay a penalty. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!
I was also forced into taking unnecessary insurance and the car was a death trap - insufficient pressure in both front tyres and lots of mechanical alerts on the information display.

Don't take it here …

I read the conditions under which I will be given a car rental. I ordered it. I came to the office. But the conditions turned out to be completely different. I'm local and I needed a car to go to work for a couple of days. I had to provide documents and give a deposit of $250. Nobody needs my documents. But they wanted a deposit of $500So now we still have to wait until they deign to return him.

Really bad experience from the Belfast…

Really bad experience from the Belfast branch. The guy at the desk forced me to pay for insurance I didn’t want, said it was compulsory, however reading some of the reviews on here it’s not! It was some horrible foreign man with no customer service skills. Made me feel really uncomfortable and ruined the start of my holiday! NEVER USE THR COMPANY - DRIVILIA AT BELFAST AIRPORT!!!!!

Booked a car for a large family

Booked a car for a large family, when the family arrived, despite providing a written contract, they did not have the car - they offered a smaller car not understanding there was a reason a large car was booked. A rental car company that cannot provide a car after signing a contract is a rental company to avoid.

Worst Car Rental Experience Ever

Without a doubt Drivalia are the worst car rental company I have ever dealt with and I would encourage you to avoid them at all costs. Very rude staff with no customer service skills at all, who lie to you. Nowhere near the airport and their shuttle service is extremely unreliable and as a result you spend a lot of time hanging around. Super agressive sales techniques/veiled threats to get you to pay for additional insurance. Awful experince, which i will never repeat as i just wouldnt use them again- I would rather walk !!!

AVOID the Belfast branch

Hire a car from anywhere else but here.
The salesman is extremely rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. Picking up the cars was a nightmare. One car was dirty on the outside and definitely hadn’t been cleaned. Giving the cars back was worse. He inspected the two cars we’d hired in about 2 minutes. One car had the extra insurance on, one didn’t. Guess which car he found a tiny scratch on in his two minute inspection? We were told we’d be charged, then told not to worry and then ended up having to pay £260 (including a £75 ADMIN FEE - what?!). Luckily we have external insurance which will cover this but still an infuriating experience. So, beware of being stung by them if you hire the purple Fiat 500 as he’ll probably charge you for the same thing too. I would NEVER hire from them again but specifically the Belfast branch.

Lots of waiting, Bad experience & no communication

Im a regular traveler through both of Belfasts airports. I’m all for giving new businesses some trade and to see how they perform, especially if they can challenge the more established companies. However, everything seemed cheap with Easirent from the start.

I was told to wait at the airport exit until I got a phone call from a taxi company. Taxi company phoned to tell me to meet a driver in 10 mins at the car park entrance to the Maldron Hotel. Taxi driver was a nice guy, and said that there were others coming. Another 2 couples appeared, where one couple was told that they’d have to wait for him to return in 20 mins, so good job it wasn’t raining! So one taxi transporting a number of loads to and from the airport.

Journey to offsite location took around 12 mins. A red alert was flagged when every minuscule T&C is waiting on the desk with a catalogue of prices for when things go wrong! Unusual to have a 100 miles daily allowance and to be charged a fee for each mile over that, so if you’re intending to drive a lot, then this is not the company for your rental!

Took a video of the car before driving off. It seemed relatively new.

Problem arose when I returned the car. Alexis, the rep, didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. Normal customer service would say “Hello Sir, I’ll be with you as soon as possible” but no, I was ignored. Alexis reviewed the car and it looked like there was a small chip of paint on the edge of the drivers side door, no more than 2mm in length. He said that he’d take a photo and send it off to HQ for review. I didn’t get any email nor call to advise and next thing I knew about it was a £260 charge on my card. Other insurers have a circular disc that they use and if the scrape is less than 15mm long, then it’s covered. Not with Easirent!

I’ve had a bad experience with these guys, not the greatest customer service when compared to other car hire companies at the airport. Best that others (ie you) are warned before hiring with them, and I’m sorry to have to say that!

PS…Be warned that they’ll charge you an extra days hire for being 15 mins late. I was back ahead of time and actually filled up the car with fuel when I’d been given it 7/8ths full. Also make sure that you’ve bought prearranged cover with insurance4carhire cos Easirent will try to rip you off at £14 per day when it can be £45 for a whole years cover online.

If I could rate this place a 0 star I would the staff are rude and disrespectful there were laughing and my face I wrote a review and asked me to email this broker place and then they told me I wouldn’t get a refund even though I didn’t get my car and I never signed anything shocking place DO NOT RIRE A CAR FROM HERE

Awful and unprofessional, avoid at all costs!

Awful company. We hired a 3.5 tonne Luton Van from Belfast, collected on the Sunday, spent 2.5hours packing (this was for a house move over from Northern Ireland to England and booked weeks in advance!) to be called and told the van had to be returned due to the MOT expiring THE NEXT DAY! We were given a smaller van which meant we had to do a second run, booking a second ferry costing us an extra £200+. We were then told we could take the smaller van to the Leeds branch and exchange it for the larger van, in an attemt to rectify their error, and use this for our second run before dropping it back off in Leeds. When we arrived in Leeds to collect the van they had no idea we were coming! Totally lack of communication between branches. We eventually left with the Luton van, back over to NI, then back off the ferry in England and the van suffered a blow out and needed a replacement tyre. Even though we paid extra for the better insurance package we were still told that the insurance didn't cover us and we had to pay out a further £250 for a call out and replacement tyre! The company who came out said the tyre was in an awful state, as was the other front tyre, and it was in no condition to be rented by anyone. If that wasn't bad enough we then received a phone call from the Belfast branch expecting the van back when we were told to drop the van back off at the Leeds branch where we had collected it from, again, massive lack of communication between branches. Highly unprofessional when managers of different branches lay blame with other managers and verbally bash them to their customers. All in all a terrible experience, would not recommend, pay the extra and use a decent rental company!

Late cancellation

7 seater car hired for mothers funeral in Ireland 10 days before travelling - on the morning of our flight receive a call to say no car available - two cars as a replacement was mentioned, but was then told they would have to see if they had cars available and probably best to hire from somewhere else...
No explanation given other than 'should probably have been told sooner'

Easirent Belfast International Airport

Booked online through VIP Cars (who were fine). Initially no response to 5 calls to Easirent on arrival, then an hour wait for shuttle to offsite branch. Taxi drivers refused to take me (they’d had bad prior experiences at Easirent).

Easirent staff member refused to accept some damage was present on the car, and refused to note it on damage chart. Knew I could be charged for this so refused to take the car. Damage chart was blank as “it isn’t policy to keep records of damage”. Any damage not recorded “will mean they charge you”. “They” it turns out was the Easirent staff member I was speaking to. Same person suggested using my iPhone torch to look for damage in the dark as no torches available. Car refused and requested a return to the airport. Was initially told refunds not possible in branch, but after a call by staff member to Head Office I had my £1500 security deposit refunded. Had to chase the remaining £180 hire charge later.

Alternative car hire provider had flood lights and used a proper damage chart that noted previous damage, thereby eliminating any guesswork. More expensive, but worth the peace of mind.

Easirent customer services were quick at resolving my complaint by phone and refunding the monies owed (hence the 2* rather than 1* review).

Would not recommend using Easirent/Drivalia Belfast International Airport.

Booked online and happened to call…

Booked online and happened to call office to say we were on our way informed that it wasn't possible to collect van as worker had gone home sick...so turned back
Rebooked for next day Sunday ...got a phone call from office at 9.46 to say open for business...I said it would take 30mins to arrive...when we arrived office was closed...left several messages txt phone calls to Liam ...to no avail ...left high and dry!

Please beware

Please beware, and do not use this company left us stranded at the airport with no car and 3 small kids last in the evening. When we talked to the hire companies in the airport for help we found out quickly that we are not the first this has happened to. They double book cars all the time to get a higher price. Your car is no way guaranteed by booking online.
Booked the car in advance, had a print out that say we could arrange a pick up until 10pm. Called from arrivals at 6.45 for our shuttle to car but the no one anwsered. No out of office number, no answer machine message, nothing. With 3 small children this was nighmare.
We then had to arrange a hotel over night at 8.30pm as you can imagine this cost a fortune.
We then went to the office 1st thing the next morning to be told because we had not collected the night before our car was gone. With it being a busy w-end we had no chance of getting a replacement car.
The man we spoke to could not have cared less. He was so rude and we could tell he uses this story all the time to scam people.
Horrible experience by an awful companty. Please beware and do bot use them.

Couldn’t fault the staff

Couldn’t fault the staff at the Belfast International branch, super friendly and helpful. Good service, from pick up to car collection and we even got a free upgrade. Will definitely use easirent again!
