House purchase with Easthams
I have recently used Easthams Solicitors during my first house purchase. I dealt with Kim and Adele who were pleasant and professional throughout. Overall, it was a good experience. But there were a couple of things to mention. There didn’t seem to be much of rush from Easthams to get to exchange date as it was for the other parties in the chain, this was very stressful as I could have lost my property. Apparently each solicitor has a different process in which exchange and completion is carried out. I was told that there would be no rush to get the paperwork back to them, but that wasn’t the case. It ended up delaying the process further and didn’t help (I did have a part in that with using the wrong stamp!) But there wasn’t an alternative process brought to the table during the time waiting for the paperwork to arrive only after i mentioned the idea. I feel the communication at times could’ve be a little better. But overall it was a pleased process, Thank you both.
