Great service from start to finish, would highly recommend

David at Eco Renewables was great in tendering for my solar installation even though we did not select them. They were best on price by a few hundred pounds and were flexible in what they would offer including matching a 10 year insurance backed guarantee. Importantly they confirmed that they use their own staff on the installs and not contractors, something that many people worry about. David had good technical knowledge as well as a non-pushy sales style which chimed well with my style of operating. All things being equal I would have chosen them and would recommend anyone looking at solar to get a quote from them. My advice to all potential customers is take your time, get three quotes, know your current and future usage as this helps avoid over zealous sales people quoting for panels and storage you just don't need. Ask questions, lots! 4 stars only because I clearly have no experience in an install from them but I reckon it would be excellent.

Excellent service from eco renewables..had my first installation fitted years ago..just added more panels and new inverter & battery..surprised how much power is being supplied from a north facing roof..thanks again to the team..excellent 5stars

Excellent service from the guys at Eco Renewables.
They temporarily removed my existing Powerwall 2 whilst building works were ongoing, then returned to reinstall and add another Powerwall.
Very neat and professional installation. Made sure I was happy and answered all my questions before heading off. Thank you.

From my initial enquiry through to completion for my solar and battery installation the team at Eco renewables was excellent. All my many enquiries were swiftly dealt with by Carly and Laura, the installation team where quick, polite and tidy. All documentation arrived very quickly after the install was completed, and although there was a delay in removing the scaffolding at the end, it didn't detract from an otherwise great experience and I would definitely recommend Eco Renewables for your solar and battery installation.

Great service from start to finish, Chris was great and helpful in choosing the right system for me. On install the electrical guys turned up first at roughly time stated giving them a good start before the roofers turned up a few hours later. The electricians talked through what they needed to do and install and suitable places to fit the kit.
Roofing guys came did a fantastic job and finished the install mid afternoon. Everything left clean and tidy, would highly recommend these guys.

From start to finish, ECO Renewables did a fantastic job. Chris was most helpful with the quote and specification, together with a very competitive price. The installation team also did a great install of a 19 panel system and a 10kw battery. They were very meticulous and tidy.

This company is the one to go for. I have done A LOT of research and they are unbeatable on the price/quality ratio. Great communication. Engineers booked, well skilled and informed, turned up on time, set everything up. Tidied up after the job and actually cared about getting the system right, unlike many other tradesmen these days. I have used them separately for installing Tesla Powerwall 3 and for solar panels, great experience each time - and I can be a difficult customer!

Eco Renewables installed solar panels and a house battery for us. We are extremely happy with the quality, tidiness and performance of the installation.

The professionalism and friendliness exhibited by everyone on site ensured a good experience throughout the work, with good communication throughout the process. Carly was always available to answer any queries, acting as a central point of contact.

To sum up the experience in a single word, that word would have to be painless.

It took a year to find the right Solar Company and have some understanding on how it all works
However I found Eco Renewables through my brother inlaw (tech wizard)
and thankfully this Company has been brilliant on quality workmanship problem solving and price

We have air source heat pump electric car in a good size 3 bed property and my monthly cost to OVO was £25
Couldn’t be happier give them a call they will bend over backwards to help

Had a problem with my solar panels & batteries installation.
After many attempts to rectify the issue myself, Chris face-timed me(I didn't recognise him with beard!), and instructed me on how to resolve the problem.

Very impressed with the service!!!

I had a solar panel installation done in 2017 , I was very pleased it was a good price and work was done efficiently .

Unfortunately an inverter failed in February of this year. It is covered by guarantee although I have to pay for installation.

I paid promptly and the part was ordered with the promise that they would contact me with a date when it was in.

After a month I checked in as hadn’t been contacted and optimiser had arrived and I was promised a date for fitting would be sent by end of day.

Since then I have repeatedly emailed 6 times, each time promised a fitting date. Each time they don’t get back to me . I’m now told the optimiser is with the roofers who are looking at their dairy but still no one has got back to me. They have had my money for 6 weeks and we are no further on. Very,very poor customer service.

Edit. Just after this review was published Chris the owner contacted me. He was very apologetic over both time taken and lack of communication over optimiser replacement. He has arranged both a refund of the money paid to fit guaranteed part and this morning the workers have arrived to replace the optimiser. He has assured me that steps have been taken to make sure no one else has same problem and passed me his personal phone number.

I have changed review from one star to five on the basis of his personal actions in resolving the problem.

Simple from start to finish, no hard sell or product pushing. Solar with batteries installed all on the same day with a tidy and clean set up. Can’t recommend enough.

Eco Renewables provided a very competitive quote when I was first looking at different solar and battery installers, then were able to meet my specific needs when I requested some slight amendments to the battery I wanted to buy (I was interested in more modular battery cells than they initially quoted for). This was all taken in stride by Chris who came back with an offer at excellent value. Eco Renewables handled everything at their end quickly (requesting permission from local utilities operators, getting export MAPN number etc), and kept me informed of progress. When installation took place it was straightforward and took place over 2 days with minimal input required from me. Chris has also provided great after-installation service, answering my questions within 24 hours to make sure everything is working efficiently.

Eco Renewables installed a large domestic solar panel and battery for us in 2022. The installation took some time to schedule but was completed with a quick, tidy job. Our electricity bills plunged dramtically to the point where in the summer months and bright winter days electricty is free - going as far to export a few hundred pounds credit for exporting excess electricity.

We purchased our first EV in March 2025 and called on Eco Rewnables to install the charger as we wanted to charge the car using surprlus electricty so whatever was installed needed to work with our 3-phase electrics, existing solar inverter and battery installation.

The installation was delayed a couple of times but the installation itself was done in 2-hours with a great job and good explanations. The EV is now charging for free. Great dealing with professionals.

Fantastic installation carried out by Eco Renewables.
All completed without a hitch and Michael the Electrician left a very neat & tidy job both inside and out.

Whilst the Powerwall installation met with a problem at the outset, this situation was considered and subsequently rectified with little or no fuss and the whole system is up and running perfectly. Thanks for a quick and easy resolution.
