Was trying to get on with my push day and a staff member who goes by the name of silverback just kept screaming mush as he shoulder pressed a rowing machine…
Complete div IMO, now I know why David Lloyd membership is so expensive too keep helmets like that out

The gym itself is nice but there are…
The gym itself is nice but there are two issues which cause the rating I gave.
1. I have a premium membership which allows access to all gyms, but I cannot just enter a nonhome gym using my fob or code. Also machines are different so am inconsistent onn workouts. I do understand these are franchises but does not feel like a single brand.
2. The hours are too short. It does not need to be 24h, but one near me closes at 4pm on a Sunday!

A gym that cares
The staff are amazing. they care about you. this is the first gym who checked on me twice if i was ok as I wasn't coming to the gym. they were concerned about my well being suggested to take some training sessions for my back or freeze the member ship. these people are great ,helpful,supportive, listening and gym environment is amazing. I really recommend these local champions

Excellent all round service
I have been in 2 energie fitness gyms within the last month and found them similar. Wonderful and friendly staff in Colchester who support your fitness goals with good group activities. The facilities are clean, equipment are in good numbers and of high quality. Overall a very good atmosphere that encourages me to keep returning. Keep it up guys!!

There are never gym staff walking…
There are never gym staff walking around checking that people put plates away etc. Also I have seen people drink from the water fountain which is solely for filling bottles.

Have been a member for 3 years and always feel at home in the friendly environment , the instructors are excellent , sam , Ian , Darren and Kashima. Very good at their roles .
I would deffo recommend joining.
