I’ve been a customer of Entertainment Earth since 2022, with many orders placed over the years, including multiple Not Mint items shipped to the same freight forwarder address without prior issues.
In this case, a Not Mint item arrived with conditions that went beyond cosmetic box damage:
Missing factory plastic ties
Broken parts already present
Visible signs of prior handling and reassembly
Packaging that appeared opened and resealed
Customer service explained that Not Mint typically refers to cosmetic packaging damage only, not used or altered items. However, they declined responsibility solely because the order was shipped to a freight forwarder and offered only a return at my expense.
As an international buyer, return shipping costs are ~$90 USD, making this option unrealistic. I also confirmed with my freight forwarder that the package arrived externally intact, consistent with the photos provided.
I am not questioning intent, but the outcome is that international customers using freight forwarders may have no practical recourse, even when the item received does not align with the stated Not Mint condition.
Posting this so other collectors can make informed purchasing decisions.

I pre-ordered a Toji Fushiguro S.H.Figuarts figure for my son from Entertainment Earth months in advance, expecting basic competence. Instead, as the release date approached, they quietly downgraded my order from “pre-order” to “backordered” and pushed the ship date, without transparency or accountability. When I reached out, I got vague, canned responses and zero useful information, just empty assurances that they’d “do their best.”
Two weeks later, they canceled the order outright, blaming “manufacturer issues”, as if that excuses taking orders they clearly had no ability to fulfill in the first place. Now I’m forced to hunt down the same figure after release at inflated resale prices, all because they couldn’t be honest or manage their inventory responsibly.
If they had been upfront instead of misleading customers, I could have ordered from a retailer that actually delivers on its promises. Instead, they wasted my time and left me dealing with the fallout, including disappointing my kid.
This isn’t a minor inconvenience; it’s a complete failure of reliability and basic business integrity. The hollow “we apologize for any inconvenience” line is insulting at this point. Stop hiding behind scripted apologies, take responsibility, and - most importantly - stop accepting orders you have no realistic chance of fulfilling.

Stay away from this distributor.
I paid the $250 onboarding fee expecting a serious wholesale partnership for my Amazon FBA business, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money.
Before payment, my sales manager Justin was very responsive, friendly, and quick to reply. But once the fee was paid, communication dropped completely — emails delayed or ignored, and even scheduled calls were not attended.
Their inventory system is unreliable. Products often show available, but after ordering they go into backorder, and you may wait weeks or even 2–3 months to receive stock.
This feels more like a dropshipping model — you pay upfront, and then wait months for products, often priced close to Amazon, leaving little to no profit margin.
As an Amazon FBA seller in the US market, this caused delays, cash flow issues, and unnecessary losses.
I do not recommend this distributor. You risk losing your $250 onboarding fee with very little value in return.

I am submitting a consumer complaint against Entertainment Earth for unfair and potentially deceptive business practices.
In February 2025, I placed a preorder for a product with an expected release date of July 2025. July came and went. When the company failed to fulfill the order by that date, I submitted a cancellation request via their web chat. I was told that they had no idea when the figure would be released and told me I could cancel.
After months of no communication or updates, I believed the order had been canceled. However, on April 9, 2026, the company charged my account without any prior notice or confirmation.
The company’s website indicates that “processing” orders typically ship within 1–2 business days, yet my order has remained in processing status beyond that timeframe with no updates or communication.
Additionally, my attempts to resolve this issue through customer service have been unsuccessful. I merely wrote “WTF” in my chat communications and the snowflake named “Donald” clutched his pearls and now instead of refunding my money as requested, he made the communication about me using foul language.
I believe this conduct may violate consumer protection laws, including:
- Failure to honor cancellation requests
- Charging consumers without adequate notice or authorization
- Lack of transparency in order fulfillment practices
I am requesting:
- A full refund
- Review of this company’s business practices to prevent similar issues affecting other consumers
I have also disputed this charge with my bank, reported him to the Better Business Bureau and FTC.
He claims he shipped my item and his tracking shows delivered but I never got it. I asked him to provide photographs of delivery but he refuses to communicate so I’m letting my bank handle this.
I’ve only used this company once before and it’s safe to say, based on my experience and the many bad reviews I’m reading on here and on YouTube, I’ll stick with other dealers and Amazon.

This website has got to be one of the worst ones yet. Ive been waiting EIGHT MONTHS for these THREE funko pops to arrive when i preordered them LAST YEAR. All to get emails about 'oh sorry its delayed, oh sorry its back order' and now one of the main ones i ordered is not even getting a restock. Literally what was the point of you guys acting like you'd get more if it was a 50/50???? Ive been holding $70 for you people for those funkos just for this. I cancelled my order because this is ridiculous.
Edit: Yeah no thanks buddy, i will not be contacting you people just for the same answer and pitty words.

I ordered a product, long wait, ultimately bureaucratic issues canceled the order. Really sucks. On other sites the product is shown as "in stock". I could have received it about a month ago. So disappointing.

I’ve ordered 2 separate times from EE and doubt there is going to be a third time. Both orders were preorders. The first one FINALLY arrived after months of waiting. This last order…I ordered in August. It initially had a drop date of being released in September, which is why I ordered. Well, that kept getting pushed back and we are now well into March! Getting ahold of anyone at this company is impossible. The Live Chat feature doesn’t work and no one responds to emails. There isn’t a phone number offered. I would highly recommend steering clear of this company unless you like spending money on things you may never see.

I pre-ordered the Hello Kitty Tamagotchi mid-July for it to be delivered in August. August comes, i found the tamagotchi in stock at other stores, but my order was already on its way from Entertainment Earth, so I thought I shouldn’t bother to order it from elsewhere since I already have a supposedly trustworthy company securing my Tamagotchi. Not only did they send me the wrong Tamagotchi after waiting for 1.5 month, but they also sent me one that was already in stock everywhere and happened to be cheaper than the one I paid for. By the time I got a hold of customer service they were already out of the Tamagotchi, and I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Their customer service was also rude and unapologetic for their screw up. And they couldn’t tell me when the Tamagotchi would be in stock next. My question is, if you secured my Tamagotchi because I placed a pre-order, how can you run out? Don’t you have to make sure everyone receives it first, unless whoever packaged my order stole it and gave me a different one that’s available everywhere, hoping I wouldn’t notice. And now I have to go through the hassle of wasting more of my time and resources packaging, printing a shipping label and driving to the ups store to get my money back. I feel like this should have been instant refund, after such a royal F up and having me miss out on an item I really wanted.

Prices increase, and now they don't honor their mint quality. Been a customer for 25yrs. There lack of shipping quality leads to non mint items at mint condition pricing. I guess there just like walmart, target, and Amazon now. Sad. Maybe big bad toys can do better.

I sent an email with a question, and it was Donald who responded back to me. In the response email, Donald basically said, you are next to receive the item you enquired about. I was cool with that because things happen, my nephew will have to wait. I should look into an alternate plan. I casually mentioned that in my response email back to Donald, and called it a day. However, Donald, being vigilant. Being the superstar he is must have checked the inventory and found an extra of the item I was asking about. Donald recontacted me with that news, and the item will make it out to me shortly. I can't thank Donald enough for his efforts and dedication. Donald didn't have to do that, but his kindness and care is going to make a kid very happy on Christmas day. I wish I could buy Donald a drink, but the best I can do right now is give him high praise for going above and beyond for a total stranger. Donald is a good dude. I believe Donald is making a difference, and it really goes a long way.

Shipping rates are based on dollar amount instead of size and weight like most any other retailer. I was charged $19.95 for an item that would ship for $7 anywhere else. A ridiculous system.

As mainly a moc collector, I've had a lot of trouble over the years w/ the big box companies (in regards to shipping) and though I've heard many people complain about EE, I have to say that they've been on a perfect streak with me for almost 2yrs! Plus, the customer service is usually just as good.
For example, today I contacted them about an import figs card being damaged. It was a Hiya 1/18th WalkingDead King Walker. The cust service rep, Donald, gave me a couple fairly good options and then sensed that I wasn't completely happy. So D stepped the call back and worked with me some more to make sure I was cool w/ everything and that I felt made whole by the fairly trivial issue. You cant ask for more than that!
TVC collectors have especially been tough on EE and I urge you to give them another chance. It cant get worse than Amazon, Target or WalMart?! True opinions and true experience.

I experienced a shipping error with the product I ordered, so I called EE customer service and spoke to a gentleman named Don. He politely walked me through the process to determine how to fix the error and proceed. He was incredibly professional and answered my questions very efficiently! Because of my great experience, I would recommend this online retailer to other people I know, A++!!

UPDATE: I called the number the reply told me to call, and supervisor "Eddie" was equally, rude, curt and unhelpful. He lacked even the ability to feign sympathy. He kind of made me feel like garbage for calling in. When I tried to discuss the issue, he said he didn't want to turn it into a debate and hurried to end the call. Don't bother calling their number. They just reply to every bad review because it helps the algorithm keep seeing them as a "good" company when they are not.
PLEASE, just buy from Amazon. Their customer service always resolves everything and return shipping is free.

Pre-orderd Godzilla in June through this site because the delivery fee was cheaper than going through the manufacturer. It was supposed to be delivered in July and then August and it's now September. When I call they tell me it's a shipping delay and it will be here next month. If you really want an item just go to the Hiya site and pay the extra 15 dollars for delivery. My grandson really wanted this Godzilla but I don't think it's ever going to come. I won't be ordering from this site again.
