Communication skills lacking
I think that you could improve your communication with customers. I recently waited nine months for a new Ford fiesta. I realized that the delay was down to Ford however I think that I should have been kept up to date on progress better than I was. I had to phone several times throughout this period to check for progress.

Incompetence in Evans Halshaw Kirkintilloch
Bought a Ford Ecosport last month. Took out an extended 2 year warranty since it was just over 3 years old.
After 3 weeks of driving one of the tyre pressure sensors failed. Turns out that's not covered by the warranty.
I took the wheel to them, having bought a spare, and asked them to fit a new sensor - you could hear the old one bouncing around inside the wheel.
Got it back 4 days later. Still didn't work.
Took it back and got told they just refitted the sensor ythat had been rattling around inside the wheel. I'm currently waiting for them to do the job properly.... for which they are going to charge me an additional £96.
I'll not be using this garage again.
I have also lost a whole afternoon when I was supposed to be getting medical tests done.

Disappointed this time.
Disappointed to be charged for mechanics time to look at an intermittent issue I have when the car is under warranty and I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I still have the issue, perhaps it's time to take my business elsewhere.

Labour charge is a standard charge as a company, this is so our mechanics can work on your vehicle to help identify the fault so they can fix the correct issue with the vehicle.
The warranty doesn’t cover labour charges, this is purely for certain issues to be covered and in some cases also the diagnostic fee to be covered too.

Choosing a car on line.
Saw a car I liked on line, but not in my local Evans Halshaw. The car was in the Blackpool branch. Visited the local branch & spoke with David McKellar who dealt with all my questions. I decided to purchase the car. David d/w transporting the vehicle up to local branch & I picked it up on Mon. 07/02/22. David was exceptionally helpful & lead me through the whole experience!
