Never again
Never again. I have Gold Standard recovery, though you'd never guess it. Last year, I broke down by the side of the motorway 12 miles from home and it took them 6 hours for them to rescue me. I renewed begrudgingly because they were the cheapest quote, so I thought, okay, I'm sure it isn't always this dreadful. I WAS WRONG. In April my tyre burst in several places because of a pot hole on a rural road 22 miles from home at 17.55 to be precise. By 10pm after several calls they told me they could not get anyone to recover me until 3.30am the next morning, so they suggested they recover the car off the country road and dump me in the nearest Motorway services car park, a CLOSED motorway services car park and that I could stay with the vehicle (in a empty car park as a lone woman) or leave the keys with the car somewhere on the wheel and get a taxi home (obvs invalidating my insurance) but I would need to accept the car at home at 4ish in the morning or whenever they turned up. Or I could get a taxi back to the services around 3.30am and wait for the recovery truck to arrive but they wouldn't be cover that cost as the insurance limit for taxi's is £75 and it was going to cost that from the services car park. Words fail me. I complained to Call Assit, the company Eversure subcontract to organise the recoveries. Call Assit offered my £25 goodwill and when I requested an increase, they confirmed it was their final offer so I've made a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. AVOID.

Fantastic that premium was reduced from last years renewal.
Having made a claim in the past which Eversure settled promptly and without a quibble which is better than other cycle insurers I have had policies with in the past.
