Some last minute issues with availability of the vehicle we wanted, however the team were fantastic and worked hard to arrange a replacement at late notice.
Out of hours collection and drop off is great value and really helpful. Having not used an EV before, the brief and information we received on handover was fantastic and really useful. The vehicle had been cleaned to a high standard, not always the case when using other hire companies and hire prices are very reasonable.

Hired a Model S for a day in September to drive my son back to university. Durham to Cambridge and back in a day.
Car was great, people were great. Deposit was returned within the published time.

Just tried to use again - completely different story this time. Terrible service, terrible website. Suggested charging me £200 plus vat to deliver. Awful

Really helpful friendly and cost effective ev rental

I was in the market for an electric car, but with most dealerships they only offer you 30-60 minutes to test drive the car. This simply isn't enough. So I turned to EVision to get a bit more time with the cars before making any decisions

I hired a total of three vehicles through EVision, two days for each of them. All of the transactions went very smoothly, and their communication was excellent. All three vehicles were in great condition when I picked them up.

For one of the cars, they only had one available all the way down in London. They do deliver and collect for a cost, but I opted to make the 220 mile drive myself. They did charge an excess mileage fee, which I thought was more than reasonable given I'd gone over the 150 mile per day allowance by about 300 miles. It was however a superb opportunity to properly test car. Turned out to be worth it in the end, as that's the car I ended up going for.

Had 24hrs with Tesla Model S. Wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

EDIT 22/11/21:

Following the CC team's response on this thread, I wasn't contacted by them for my deposit refund. I waited 5 days and had to call them myself to get someone to email me again to ask me for my bank details for the refund, as they didn't have this information despite originally paying by bank transfer.

Ultimately, if you rely on good faith and good CS, I would be very careful dealing with this company, ensure you read the T&C's with a fine tooth comb regardless of your previous hire experiences.

They informed me everything was fine at the handover, and then charged me later on, which was really underhand. I don't think they value their customers enough, and don't think they'd be treating them this way if this was their first customer, or needed to keep the business afloat.

Won't be using Evision again.

Sales service from Della was stellar. Hired a Tesla M3 for 3 days from Durham, it was incredible and the price was extremely tempted, at such short notice too (a day before). I was extremely happy.

I was recommending Evision to our partner companies and friends left, right and centre.

Everything after that was downhill.

Went to return the vehicle and was told everything was fine.

Got an email a few days later about our £500 deposit. We had returned over half hour late so they'd be deducting an extra day from this deposit.

For reference, we were stuck in an M62 accident picking up the car so picked up at 1:30 instead of 12, which we mentioned when they called us at 1, thus we returned the vehicle at 1PM 3 days later. Our previous hires have always started and ended at the time of handover, though if Evision wanted to charge us for an extra day, they should have told us when we were returning the car as we'd have simply kept it.

As it stands, I've had 2 emails from 2 different people at Evision in the week following my hire, however my responses have yet to be replied to, and my deposit is yet to be returned. I've been told on the phone by CS to follow up by email with the people that informed me, which I did, but I've heard nothing back.

I'm pretty disappointed at this stage, and won't be using Evision again (which we were intent on doing straightaway), nor recommending them to others.

When it came time for this company to deliver the vehicle I paid for in full they gave me an excuse saying I was high risk and asked for an additional deposit of £500.

I wasted a lot of time arranging a collection and when it came time they asked for a further £500. I was gobsmacked and it clearly seems to me that their greed knows no bounds. Avoid at all costs!!!

I've now rented the same car I was after from a company named Onto that have offered the same vehicle. The price is better comparatively which is great but most importantly they conduct business with honesty and integrity. I've genuinely had a dismal experience with Evision and once again I strongly advise against anyone looking to do business them.

***I'm replying on here to the message below as I'm left no other option. I unequivocally deny the lie that I didn't provide identification and if that was the case, why did you accept my money without doing due diligence first?

No matter how you look at it even if I'm lying (which I'm not) you've proven yourselves to be incompetent at best and misleading at worst. This will be the last time I address this matter to warn others of Evision's never ending deceit.***

Hired a BMW i3 for a week to get the full experience of the car prior to a decision on whether now is the right time to buy electric. Totally professional, and excellent value for money.

No non-sense, hassle free rental service and among the few that has the Tesla's available and with the latest range. The staff is very friendly and their rental policies are fair and easy to understand. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. I rented a Jaguar Ipace. Door to door service at my Heathrow hotel. Very professional staff to guide you through rental process. Insurance is reasonably priced. "Top notch" company as we say in the States.

I wanted to try out a Tesla Model 3, so rented one for a week. After hunting around, I found that EVision Electric had just what I was interested in from a depot relatively near to us, and at a reasonable daily price.

Before the rental started I had a minor issue with their web site, their support was great and had it sorted within a really short time so that I could complete the necessary "paperwork".

Because of where we live in South Devon, we paid extra to have the car delivered to us. The car arrived looking spectacular, the delivery people even gave it a polish before handing it over!

They were great, they made sure I understood the workings of the car, showed me all those little things it takes ages to find, then walked me around to check things over. Great service. They seemed genuinely interested in both their cars and that I got the most from my rental.

The rental price included Supercharging, so all my miles were free! I just had to pull up and plug in when it needed a top up. Easy and saved me from having to negotiate with all those different types of charger for other electric vehicles.

The car itself was faultless and drove like a dream. It was spotless inside and out as though it was brand new. Despite being a hire car, it was obviously looked after and cared for by the company.

At the end, I was sad to see the car go. The same people came down to us and collected it. Again, a walk around to check its condition and a chat about how it performed, what I'd learned and so on. They really cared.

If you want to hire an electric vehicle, I'd recommend them.

Overall a good experience and the car was delivered clean and in good condition. However, driving a Tesla without access to the App is a headache and I believe the App is a critical tool in being able to lock, unlock, drive and charge the car. Restricting App access to "long term" rentals is, I believe, short sighted.

2nd hire of a Model X from EVision. Smooth, flexible, reasonable cost and friendly. Just wish they had a location west of London :)

Just finished my 3rd Hire with Evision and can't fault the service whatsoever. The cars I hired have been the Model S P85, Model S 75D and just handed back a Model 3 Long Range. First off that cars are amazing and I will be hiring a Tesla model Y as soon as they are available in the UK. No range anxiety at all as I covered nearly 600 miles in a weekend with no problems. Staff are friendly and helpful and were kind to show me round the other cars when asked about them. On Two occasions I exceeded the mileage which is chargeable, but that was clear on the website so no issues there. Supercharging is free with the Tesla's you hire so you don't pay to charge them. Yes they are expensive to hire but they are £45k plus cars and what other car can you hire for the same price that does 0-60 in 4 seconds with free fuel.

I’m afraid I must tell you that I am very dissatisfied with this hire.

Let me first of all make one thing clear: I have no complaint about your delivery staff, who have been uniformly helpful and polite.

Here’s why I am so unhappy:
1. We were rung to be warned that the delivery would be late because of traffic. Thanks, but when we tried to ring back to ask for a slightly longer delay (I had a work Zoom commitment), no-one picked up.
2. After charging overnight the plug into the car stuck and would not come out. We were on the point of missing a most important event – a thanksgiving service for our first grandchild, deep in Essex – when fortunately her other grandfather, who has a Niro and has encountered the same problem, told us that the solution was to lock and unlock the car (we had of course already done this), and then to our immense relief, the plug came out – still not very easily. You need to warn your customers about this Kia Niro fault. NB the instruction book, though enormous, was of no use at all about this problem.
3. After driving for about 10 minutes we noticed that a tyre warning had come on. We pulled onto a forecourt and checked – the nearside front tyre was deflated by 19 psi (to 17 - 36 psi being what it should be.) We reinflated the tyre but the warning light stayed on and by the time we reached our destination, the tyre had deflated again - from memory to about 24 psi. Another inflation was undertaken – to a little over the recommended level as a safety measure to get us home – and then, at last the light went out. So, the car came with a faulty tyre (not the valve – we bubble-checked it and it wasn’t leaking.). Not a problem I have ever had in years of car hiring.

We hired a Tesla for the day for our son's birthday and had a great day.
