Formula One Autocentres - Bedford Avis 

Been using them for some years. Honest, good value and high standards of workmanship.

Had a coolant hose come lose on way home from work. After reconnecting and adding coolant drove to local formula one centre (Bedford). Manager bled the radiator and topped up coolant (3 litres). before testing system. No charge as car had been serviced their two weeks earlier. Excellent customer service.

I have to mention that I’ve been to this Centre a few times now and been very happy with the service I’ve received.

I turned up at formula one yesterday without an appointment but with a puncture and a need to be back on the road 45 minutes later. Malcolm, the manager, managed to fit me in even though they were very busy. I left 40 minutes later. Absolutely great customer service. They really got me out of a tight spot. Thank you.

Booked online for a first thing in the morning. There at 8.20 for 8.30 car did not go in until 1 o’clock. Not finished until 4 still getting oil off my drivers door.
Full service ok no washer fluid and I told him about that . 4 or 5 things not I said ok do them and all of a sudden no they don’t need doing right now . I only used this place because they are open weekends .
Not ever again. A dull depressing place waiting place abysmal. No tea coffee. Water and no tv on .

Very good customer service experienced at the Bedford facility last week. I went there to have an occasional rattling noise from underneath the car looked at. Following a thorough check I was advised that the exhaust had at some time struck a mound which had pushed the whole system rearward so that now when it moved over bumps and potholes it just touched the floor pan. However, they said its integrity was still good, without leaks, and they suggested I might like to leave it or they would willingly do replacement work as necessary. ( I opted for the former.) They wouldn't take any payment for the investigation. A very honest approach. I will continue to use Formula 1 for various jobs.

We have just left and what a fantastic experience - absolutely top class customer service. Had a MOT booked in for my car and as we stopped for a coffee on the way, wife's car wouldn't start. New manager (sorry forgot name) walked over to car with us, jump started car and drove back,where he checked and the battery was indeed dead. Managed to source new one straight away and was a life saver. I know previously Formula 1 has some poor customer reviews , but based on today's experience, the place is clearly in excellent hands now. Really positive experience, thank you

The new manager Malcom is absolutely amazing! So kind and really fair! Had a large job and he managed to turn it around within 24 hours. Customer service was top class. Had a bad experience with the old manager before but so happy we tried again. Malcolm has made the place!!

The service here was an absolute joke. Was beyond horrendous and left me baffled at how rude the managers are.

First impression, I got was them mocking and talking down to an employee. There's work place banter and then there's F1 auto Bedford 👏 Forget customer service. Their human behaviour towards others is questionable. Technicians seemed fed up of their attitude as well.

Tyre pressure light came on after tyre change. Pressures we're not correct and set different on each tyre.

Excellent service provided and I am extremely happy with professional and friendly service by the Bedord staff.
I had DPF issues with my Landrover Discovery and it has been fixed more than once where the other garages has failed to do so. Also, so happy with the professional advice given to me.

Appalling attitude at the F1 Bedford centre by the guy that is let out to meet and talk with the customer.
Won’t be recommending this centre based on his performance alone.
Thankfully the person doing the work (changing the tyres) was quick and efficient so could get out of there as quickly as possible.
Not a positive experience.

By way of an update - they never bothered to follow up to discuss. Initial reply stated I should use a link to submit additional information but it didn’t work. In addition someone would phone, did they try? Could it have been a call with no message left- perhaps that was the attempt to call to discuss!

That appears to be it for their wish to investigate further..
