I’ve been buying from Faded Store since 2019 and I’ve always loved the brand. The designs are still sick and, honestly, that’s probably the main reason I’ve kept coming back.
But the quality has noticeably gone downhill over the last few years, and it’s reached the point where I’m genuinely disappointed with my recent purchases.
I’ve bought a pretty wide range of T-shirts from Faded over the years, and the newer ones just don’t feel like the same quality. They feel much more like what I’d expect from a cheaper high-street brand such as Boohoo, rather than the heavyweight, premium-feeling T-shirts I was used to getting from Faded.
I’ve even got Faded shirts from 2020 that are in better condition than some of the shirts I’ve bought in the last year. The older shirts hold their colour much better, feel more substantial and generally seem to stand up to wear far better. The printing on the newer shirts also seems to wear/fade much quicker.
I understand that costs change and businesses have to make decisions about production, but if the quality has been reduced, it’s frustrating that the savings don’t seem to have been passed on to the customer. The prices certainly don’t feel like they’ve dropped alongside the quality.
It’s a shame because the designs are still some of the best around and I genuinely want to keep buying Faded. I just don’t want to spend Faded money on T-shirts that feel noticeably cheaper than the ones I was buying five or six years ago.
I really hope the quality gets brought back up because the brand deserves it.

Over €2,200 spent with Faded Store and this is how they treat a 3-year customer
I have been a Faded Store customer for around 3 years and, based on my order history, I have spent over €2,200 with them.
Unfortunately, after my latest experience with their customer service, I don’t think I will ever order from them again.
My latest order was €649.30 (#236798). I needed to return part of the order, worth over €200.
Their DPD return portal did not accept my Belgian postcode, so I contacted Faded Store directly. Their customer service specifically instructed me to send the parcel from Belgium directly to their UK returns warehouse in Leeds.
I followed their instructions exactly.
Unsurprisingly, because the parcel was being sent from Belgium to the UK, it was then held due to import charges that needed to be paid before delivery.
I contacted Faded Store and offered them the simplest possible solution: pay the import charges to release the parcel and deduct 100% of those charges from the €200+ refund they owe me.
They refused to do anything.
So essentially, Faded Store gave me return instructions that resulted in my parcel being stuck, provided me with no workable alternative for returning it from Belgium, and then refused to help resolve the situation — even though I offered to personally cover all of the import costs.
And after that, they simply stopped replying to me.
After 3 years as a customer and more than €2,200 spent with this company, I find this level of customer service absolutely unacceptable.
I wasn’t asking for free shipping. I wasn’t asking Faded Store to pay the customs charges. I was literally asking them to deduct those charges from my own refund so they could receive the parcel they instructed me to send.
Instead, I’m left with a return I cannot complete and customer service that has stopped responding.
Extremely disappointing way to treat a long-term customer. I would strongly advise EU/international customers to be very careful when ordering if there is any possibility you may need to return something.

Bought the linen shirts in stone and olive. Both excellent. Well constructed and the linen itself is slightly heavier weight than is often used which gives a more substantial feel to the garment whilst still being light and cool to wear. The `stone` in particular has a lovely `smooth/roughness` to it which I like and is a beautiful warm off-white shade.
The sizing is generous. I normally buy a 42inch chest for which the size-chart provided recommended `XL`. but I find their `L` is big enough for me.
Delivery is phenomenal they appear to send the order out as soon as you send the order in ! Very pleased.
