Absolutely awful rude service ! Offered to leave a deposit to hold a car and they said no phone them the next morning to say we are coming to pick it up and they said fine to then get a phone call saying they have sold the car and was very rude on the phone made us lose £200 because of getting insurance as on way to pick up !

Very disappointing experience.
Bought a car from this dealer and discovered a serious timing chain issue shortly afterwards. The dealer refused to accept responsibility, so I had no choice but to start County Court proceedings.
I would not recommend this dealer.

Brought a car in April from here was super helpful, headlight didn’t work one morning I rang them and they had fixed it for me as I was still in warranty, absolutely amazing customer service super friendly kind and approachable.

Bought a mercedes clk from them and they said it was in good condition. Just a month and a half later, the engine management came on and the car started misfiring. I’ve been quoted 2 grand to replace the chain… this is more than the car was worth. There’s a reason why they sell their cars cheap. The MOT history on most of their cars say “pass’ but they’ve probably taken it to a friends garage and made a poor attempt at doing an MOT. Stay clear for these people and pay the extra money for a car with full service history and buy from reputable dealerships.

I would not recommend Fam Cars Birmingham based on my experience.

The car I purchased had faults, and I feel the way the situation was handled was very disappointing. In my opinion, they sell cars that are not properly checked, and when problems come up, they try to buy the car back instead of properly resolving the issue.

This has caused stress, wasted time, and financial loss. I would advise anyone thinking of buying from them to be very careful, get the car fully inspected by an independent mechanic before paying, and make sure everything is in writing.

Very poor experience. Please stay away and keep your money safe.
