I first contacted FENSA at the end of May 2026, when we urgently needed to become FENSA registered in order to submit a tender due on 19th June. Time was extremely tight, but from the outset Alistair pulled out every stop to make it happen for us.
He worked tirelessly throughout the process and especially on the day before our submission deadline to push everything through. Thanks to his efforts, we received our certificate on 18 June at 17:15 just in time to submit our bid on the Friday morning.
Without Alistair, we simply wouldn't have passed our assessment and registered in time, and we'd have missed the tender altogether. He went above and beyond at a critical moment for our business, and his professionalism, and sheer determination made all the difference. A genuine credit to FENSA.
A quick mention too for his colleague Beryl, who was equally helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Received excellent advice, help & support from their Technical Team, and also from their administration team around a few of areas of discussion - and once my questions were answered, the whole process thereafter was slick & efficient

The process of going on your website, and then contacting you via that was very easy. I received a message stating when i would receive contact and then Jennifer sorted out a new certificate very quickly.
My only slight issue is that it took just over 1 month to receive the certificate. this seems like a very long time for such a simple certificate, but we were told to expect something in 10 working days - this is clearly not correct so a more realistic timescale would help to set expectations more accurately.

²Simple as this, my FENSA Certificate isnt worth a thing. After multiple contact and getting nowhere I got told the inadequate expensive work I had done is out of scope apparently. So not covered at all. Had another email, yet again telling me that my issue isn't covered. So I say it again ,why give anyone a fensa certificate. I was deluded enough to think a inadequate job was covered. Its not, I have now told Mr Gallespy to contact me with his crap no further. I sincerely always thought your certificate was your peace of mind. It would almost be funny if I wasnt so angry. Never mind if your job was done to satisfaction your safe. Because you dont need your certificate. I mean if your not covered for bad installation its laughable. Your not , you have a window or door fitted thats got gaps for eg. Your not covered. As for the reply below, theres absolutely no point engaging. Why should this time be any different.

My complaint was escalated to FENSA after discovering our window installation wasn’t to regulation. From the outset, our case handler, Adrian, was exceptional. He was easy to reach, responded promptly to calls and emails, and kept us updated at every stage.
Adrian truly fought our case. Thanks to his persistence, we reached a solution with the window company, finally got the installation completed after eight months of delays, and avoided court action altogether. We cannot thank Adrian enough and his dedication made all the difference! Highly recommend FENSA, especially Adrian!
