Although staff were polite and helpful the number of out of order rides and rides that then closed for maintenance spoiled what should have been a fun day out. Food was expensive (£11 for 8 doughnuts)... Voir plus

A whole day spent at flamingo land to…
A whole day spent at flamingo land to go on 1 ride! Prices extortionate, queues ridiculous. Absolute waste of money. Will not be visiting again.
Right royal rip off, avoid at all costs
2 cars and 10 people travelled down today from glasgow, most of the main rides were not working, many eating places also closed, the ones that were open are serving poor quality food, we paid almost £400 between us, we entered the theme park at 11am left raging at 2.15pn, we have been right royaly ripped off by flamingoland, i would not recommend this run down dump to anyone, ww complained to staff at the parkand got absolutely nowhere with them, anyone thinking of going there should seriously avoid doing so, we will never set foot in this dump again
Great day out
Went on the hottest day of the year this year. Only velocity wasn’t working but all the others were. Been many years here. Obv nice and quiet Monday to Wednesdays. 10 min max in queues if that. Few animals in hiding as hot. Got there and on rides at 10am did all the rides apart from kids rides by 1pm. Really was a great day.
I’ve been to theme parks around the world even though it isn’t Busch gardens Florida.
It’s got a good amount of rides for everyone and the zoo is a good walk about.
American diner great, quiet day relaxing walk about the whole park and on rides.
Typical uk theme park but was a good day.
Excellent location for a family holiday!
Excellent location for a family holiday. We have been coming here since I was a child and it had absolutely everything to do and we still return year after year. From the theme park, zoo, arcades, entertainment, daytime shows and swimming complex. On our most recent visit (April 2024), all rides were open and there were hardly any queues so we went on each ride multiple times. Lots of other reviews say it was very busy and they had to queue for over an hour but this wasn't the case for us. Will definately be coming back again soon and recommending to all my friends with children!
Substandard, the public deserve better
We thought we'd have a good family day out with the grandchildren, we got there and found most of the rides were closed. The splash boat had been dismantled for repairs, everything in that area wasn't accessible , when it started to rain a lot of the rides closed, the rides that were open were possibly under staffed because the ques were long and going down very slowly. the track with the racing cars(F1) was a joke , empty cars and they'd only send a couple out at a time so people got frustrated at the long wait. Even Velocity and the train that takes you round the park were closed, they still charged full price though for the visit but delivered a very substandard experience. To sum it up it's not value for money, with poor facilities, too many rides closed which makes it very over priced for what is on offer compared to other venues, with it's scruffy appearance, and very expensive food, not worth the money, at least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask!
Don’t waste your time and money
Absolutely appalling,
We got on Sik then had a walk round most of the rides were closed, qued up for Kamali waited 30 mins for it to break down so turned us away mumbo jumbo had the biggest Que has you can imagine with so many rides closed the remaining few were 50/60 mins wait flipflop was closed, twistasaurus closed velocity closed navigator closed so had a walk round the zoo most of the enclosures were empty so called in to get food qued up for pizza and chips to be told out of stock so we tried the burger bar were the staff were arguing and really stressed out shouting at each other managed to get our food, went into the shop for a coffee surprise surprise out of stock this was at 12.30 went back to Sik which was also closed we went home at 2 I’m surprised we made it till then, we managed to get on Sik and the swinging chairs we asked a member of staff if the other rides would be opening to be told there closed for the rest of the day then with nothing to do and board off our heads we went home shocking 😳
Rickety ride to your death
Can’t believe how much it has gone downhill over the years. Looks scruffy, majority of the rides were shut for repairs. The rides that were open sounded&looked like they were 300years old & needed repairs! We couldn’t go on the main ride as there wasn’t enough people to get on with us (even though the control box had 5/6 staff members literally doing nothing- all miserable faced). So many reviews similar to this too which is more irritating knowing they are aware of this issue - yet still keep the park open for the same price- ripping people off!
What an absolutely awful place
What an absolutely awful place. Overpriced to start with. Run down and dirty. We are a party of 4 adults and one child and paid £216.00. Not worth £16. Rides slow to load or not working. Coffee shop (Costa) - no iced drinks, no choice of milk, no sandwiches at 2pm. Shambolic and will be advising any contacts to stay clear.
At just under £180 for 3 people it was…
At just under £180 for 3 people it was expensive, most of the food outlets were closed and the ones available were also and of poor quality. Some of the facilities such as monorail and some rides were also unavailable. The fee did include rides but not the arcades and whole our 2 year old went free many of the kiddies rides weren't suitable. The zoo area was scruffy.
On the plus side the staff were pleasant and friendly.
Won't be returning in a hurry.
son fell off ride
so right i was on this rollercoaster and suddenly i hear my son screaming and obvs i didnt look his way cos i didnt raise a pussie but then i saw him FLY RIGHT OVER MY HED!! NOW HE IS IN HOSPITAL WIV SEVEN BROKEN ARMS. NEGATIVE experience as my son is not evene dead that would av been sick
Expensive Food
Amazing rides however the food was quite expensive for my whole family.
I worked here for 3 years on rides
I worked here for 3 years on rides, what a horrible job! Most staff are a good laugh and makes the job worth it but the management make your life hell. You can’t do anything without their say so. If management don’t like you, you don’t get trusted. You will be looked down upon all day everyday as if you’re scum. I’d avoid this place like the plague.
Kids found a Syringe in fridge
Hired accommodation direct with flamimgo land , half term break with 2 children .Horrified that when we opened the fridge to put shopping away there was a Syringe inside the fridge, toilet seat wasnt connected to the toilet and previous occupants dirty underwear left under the kids beds.
Complained to flamingo land who still havnt apologised for the shringe only claiming that sorry wasn't up to the standards i expected and offering £100 off my next stay -like im ever going to go back there again after this appalling experience
Flaming Go somewhere better.
We booked my wife and two children. The bill was £140. Wow a lot of money right so I expected it to be awesome. Unfortunately it was raining be we thought we'll wrap up and brave the weather. So we enter and walk around looking for the 1st ride. We went on the F1 cars, the guy working the cars was adding a plastic carrier bag to cover the electrics to one of the cars. Not inspring much confidence in the safety, we climbed into soaking wet seated car and it cut out at numerous times around the track. My wifes broke down and 40 ft from the end. When she got out, the miserable staff girl barked at her that she needed to get back in and drive it to the end point. My wife was stunned at her rudeness but tried to comply, only to find it only moved 10ft and then broke down again. The girl tried to say it again but this time we said it's broken and not our responsibility to persevere! The next several rides were closed due to safety. The next several rides read that they were only open between 2pm and 4pm and other rides my children were not tall enough to go on. So walked around for about 90 minutes and had only been on two rides. So I was to the information office and asked for my money back. I had to explain all of the above in detail and they said that this didn't deem and refund. I had to argue with the supervisor for 30 mins and eventually after threatening to walk around the park shouting "Get your refunds" and promising to have a riot at their doors did they eventually refund us. Awful awful experience, avoid at all costs.
Was okay not worth money an the guy…
Was okay not worth money an the guy running bar is arrogant an rude towards the kids hes lucky its a kids resort or he would of been deat with
Great day out
After reading some bad reviews from couple of days ago I can only say we loved the family day out @ flamingo land. Were expecting longer quoues but it was not so bad actually. I have seem multiple staff members with litter picking tools walking around and cleaning area. Rides were actually amazing- for older and smaller kids- Sik , mambo jumbo, frog hopper, dino land rides. Loved them. Had seen only 1 breakdown and it was car racing ride but within lilerally 3 mins like 5 engineers/staff members were there and fixed the issue. Was really happy to see swift reaction.
We all loved to see sea lion show- actually went twice. Gentelemen leading the show was so profesional and have delivered show full with amazement and educational touches- now we all know difference between seal and sea lion! Kids and us adults we loved it! Thank you so much
.
Facilities were cleaned during our visit as well and cannot say they were dirty- seemed reasonable. (loved arcades roilet with tyre sinks :) original. )
Regaring meals been told by my friend who was there with her family that they are expensive and that there are pleanty of nice picnic tables so as usually brought our own meals, snacks and enjoyed our time at Flamingo land!
Animals had so much outdoor space- what was great to see a bit more of freedom given to them comparing to some other places with less access for them.
Leaving 4 stars as we all know there are always room for improvement but comparing to drayton manor and guliver Island- Flamingo land have been the place to visit.
Thank you Flamingo land staff and park for such a fun day! Keep up the good work of keeping place bice and clean ready to bring fun on kids- all small and big, faces.!
Dirty needs cleaning up to get holiday…
Dirty needs cleaning up to get holiday makers back
£320 for 3 nights in our own tourer
£320 for 3 nights in our own tourer, electric keeps tripping, facilities are DISGUSTING! Grass is overgrown on camp site, dog foul all over, facilities Rarely cleaned, we had to pay £9.80 for 2 waters and a fruit shoot! The food is disgusting, beef on the Sunday lunch is like chewing gum, veg cold, Chinese food was crap undercooked chips, miserable lady behind the counter at the Chinese and over priced again! Enjoyed party in the park that’s always good but apart from that the owner needs to start spending his millions instead of getting his helicopter to transport him over! ALSO the prices need to come down to make it more affordable for normal people!!!!
Sharon mcdougall you talk that much…
Sharon mcdougall you talk that much rubbish people believe you it was my partner that booked the caravan last year through yous you scammed her as well out of 1300 the worst thing about it she’s gout four young children yous are just a bunch of scammers 131 willow keep away scam
Great family day out
Had an amazing family day out today thank you. Special and heart felt thanks to a staff member called Maddie Joseph who worked in Teddy Mountain. She was absolutely lovely with my daughter, actually sat with her at the table whilst she made the bear. Really felt like she went the extra mile to make it fun for her and provide a short calm break from the rides.
The park was amazing too. I do agree with the reviews about the queuing and it wasn't the cheapest but there was a lot of variety on offer and we had the best family day we have had in ages. Thanks so much.
