We had never heard of Flo Tours
We had never heard of Flo Tours. At times I was even concerned it was a scam. Boy, we were impressed by our tour of Turkey. Good hotels and food plus a small group. Transportation was on time and reliable. Guides were good. Will use them again.

I paid for a 30-day tour
I paid for a 30-day tour, which was cancelled due to few people signing up
I was told that the next year I could have my own private tour to make up for this. A few months later, I was told that, due to unrest in Turkey, he advised me not to go on the private tour.
Then , he put me on a tour with another company for 24 days, with no compensation for the extra 6 days I had originally paid for.

You have signed up for a small group tour of Grand Turkey tour in May 2013. Unfortunately, we did not have any other passengers besides you on that travel date. Therefore, we offered you an option of a different itinerary on your travel dates or to wait for the next departure of the same itinerary. You accepted the shorter tour with higher category hotels and completed the tour. We are surprised to hear that you were expecting a compensation for the 6 days as it is explained at the time that the new itinerary is shorter and more expensive than the original one because of the hotels used. We apologize for any misunderstanding. At Flo Tours, customer satisfaction is our top priority and we hope to see you on one of our tours again as your experience is an exception.
Trip to Iran
I visited Iran in the fall of 2016 with a great English speaking guide. I enjoyed the wonders of ancient Persia and the friendliness of the Iranian people towards Americans. Shopping in Esfahan for Persian carpets and art objects was a pleasure. Accommodations were excellent as well as restaurants. It is regrettable that Americans are no longer able to obtain visas to visit this remarkable country.

There is no advantage to FLO TOURS…
There is no advantage to FLO TOURS promotions. The prices are always too high and unaffordable. Even the Travel Agent FAM RATES are ridiculously marked high that no travel agent can afford to travel.

Great guides everywhere
Great guides everywhere. Everything ran smoothely from airport pick-up to border crossings where we left one guide and picked up another one. Also great vehicles - even a mini-van for just the 2 of us.

Just about everything went well
Just about everything went well. The were friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. The only negative was the hotel in Antalia, which was not at all to our liking.

Excellent trip to the Five Stans.
Our first tour with FloTours was their Five Stans small group tour. From start to finish it was great -- from arranging the tour with FloTours home staff, to the guides in each country, local guides. Hotels were excellent. We definitely will travel with them again. Highly recommended!

Trip to Caucasus Countries - Veronica Baker
BTook my first trip with flo tours this year
and it will not be my last. On the tour we took there were only my friend and I on a close to a three week venture.
We visited three countries and had a different guide for each country who met us at the border of each different
one.
Each guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to fulfill any special requests that they could.
Accommodations were at a variety
of establishments and usually well
located for walking about. Truly none
were of type to cause any complaints.
So, thanks for a well organized and safe
your.

Frequent long distance bus riding…
Frequent long distance bus riding average at least 8 hours between the city and next destination and stay one night at most cities. Very little time to actual and leisure sightseeing in a town with no or maximum of 30 minutes shopping. Always the preference of company for its commissions that often did not appeal me for shopping. I prefer the purchase at local shopping streets. Most of all the travel with FloTours it is the worst I ever experienced.

Pro- Luxurious hotels, very knowledgeable guide (Selchuk), comprehensive itinerary, reasonable cost
Con- Practically no free time, too many visits to "workshops" which were really salesrooms, too many buffet meals designed for American palates, very l-o-n-g coach rides between destinations

I am sorry to hear that we could not meet your expectations on the hotel choices as it was a private trip and the hotels were specifically chosen for you based on your needs and budget. Magnaura Palace in Istanbul, La Vista Hotel in Kusadasi are hotels we use all the time with great reviews. Ayapam Boutique Hotel in Pamukkale is a lower class hotel, but one of the best hotels in the region as a boutique hotel.Unfortunately, Pamukkale is one of the towns we have hard time to find the high quality hotels like we use in other cities in Turkey. Happy to hear that you have enjoyed our tour guide Asil who is one of the best tour guides in Turkey and only works for private tours.

Some great elements but room for improvement...
The hotels, the chosen guides, the tours themselves - all of these aspects were wonderful. The issue we had however was during the planning process as communication with Flo Tours was frustrating - several emails unanswered, multiple voice messages not returned, it created stress during the planning process which was something we tried to avoid by going through a tour company in the first place.

We certainly had a time period when our customer base grew very fast leaving us short staffed. Since then we have hired more agents to respond to our customers as quickly as possible.
