My suggestion is if you have any other option take it! The company is unprofessional and untrustworthy.

I had a call with them in April during which I was told they help children like her everyday. I was told the next step was to fill out some forms that would be emailed to me. I never received them. After multiple texts, emails, and filling out the online contact form I was told they needed her diagnostic report. I sent it, got confirmation they had it, and I would hear back soon with an update. Again nothing. I sent another email today and received the following:

“ I sincerely apologize for the delayed response and for the lack of communication regarding *****’s case. After further review, unfortunately, we’re unable to move forward with her case at this time because we do not have the appropriate clinical setting and resources to safely support her needs.

We understand this may be disappointing, especially after you’ve been waiting for an update since your call with **** in April.”

This makes no sense. It’s the exact opposite of what I was told five months ago and from what’s advertised on their site. If I wasn’t so desperate for help for my child I wouldn’t even have continued trying with this company but there are very few options in our area and the waiting lists are one to three years long.

Since starting with Forta my son has started to gain the skills he needs to interact with his peers. The BCBA we work with Lindsey W, is amazing and the BT’s are also great. We have interacted with multiple BT’s do to changes made by the company. The only downfall I have found is that my son misses out on learning through his peers since it’s not a center based ABA program. There are multiple positives doing it though telehealth cause in the winter you don’t have to worry about your child getting sick. Also you can continue your Aba even if you’re going away over a holiday break/ summer time. Unfortunately the company tried to change my sons BT and when the BT tried to keep us as a client and not mess up the progress he was making. The company found other reasons to then force her out. This then set my son back weeks of work cause now he needs to pare with a new BT.
I’ve enjoyed working with Forta and my son looks forward to Aba after school. I would recommend Forta to anyone looking for an ABA PROGRAM. I would also suggest finding an activity where your child can engage with their peers outside of school to practice the skills that they learn Daly.
I would also suggest having the BCBA you work with communicate with the school that your child goes to. This helps keep progress, moving forward when you have everyone on the same page.

I got lied to about the funding

Great experience so far. Very professional and supportive services. They are great at working around my schedule. I love having the opportunity to work with professionals who care about my families needs.

The therapy has helped build up skills to improve our son’s behavior. He has shown great improvement with fewer tantrums and outbursts.

Great therapists. We love the way it compliments our homeschool day and challenges we face. Our daughter is making huge strides. Patient and knowledgeable I highly recommend! The only wait time was due to insurance company.

This company is amazing

The best thing about virtual ABA is its convenience. My son doesn't like to leave the house for appointments at all,his sensory overload can lead him to become overstimulated and shut down. Then when that happens, he won't engage with the activity or the people involved. Virtual ABA made it easy to get him to get excited about attending and be less anxious.

While we value the ABA framework, our experience has been inconsistent. We have dealt with frequent no-shows from our assigned RBT, which disrupts our child’s routine. Additionally, the lack of engagement during sessions is concerning; I often find myself stepping in to facilitate the session myself.

I am giving 3 stars because while the program has potential, the execution needs improvement. I hope the agency can provide better oversight to ensure staff are fully present and reliable. For a professional service, we expected more reliability and active clinical engagement.

my daughter has autism and has been speaking so well. we came from nothing to 3 word sentences and i could cry. i fought so hard to get her in aba and its paying off!! forta is amazing

So far the team that I have been working with has been very helpful with my daughter. I like working with them and they are understanding when I may have last minute changes. They work with me on rescheduling efficiently and they are very helpful with setting up times and asking my input when it comes to what would be the best time for me and my child. My daughter has grown a bond with the team, and even when she is tired she does look forward to talking with them. Overall we've had a great experience with the team.

Our therapist left and we got completely ghosted. No return emails.

The understanding and compassion they give to each one of our children as well as the patience they have with them, makes this program very special.
