Cancelled My Paid Items and After Cancellation Request, Shipped Other Items, No Refund Offered - Beware
I placed an order with Four Little Monkeys under their advertised delivery timeframe of 2-8 days. When the maximum 8 days passed and the order had not been dispatched, I emailed to cancel and requested a full refund.
Despite this, the order was shipped the next day without my authorisation. Several items I had already paid for were also cancelled due to being "out of stock". The parcel still has not arrived, and I have been told I cannot receive a refund because the order was shipped.
This experience is extremely frustrating. Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a refund if goods are not supplied within the promised timeframe or if a cancellation request is made before dispatch. I will be refusing delivery of this order and pursuing a full refund, including the original postage, via credit card chargeback.
I cannot recommend this store for reliable delivery or honest conduct.
