Not worth it at all, save your money.
My dog died while I was on holiday, my son saught veterinary care as an emergency NOT COVERED take home medication NOT COVERED. Death of my dog was covered but very reluctant to pay as I was asked for all kinds of proof of purchase. Wasn't paid full amount in the end I gave up fighting and arguing it it was a traumatic time as it was without back an forth for more money and my dog was still dead.

We’re very sorry for the loss of your dog, please accept our sincere condolences.
For the out-of-hours claim, while our policies do include cover for life-threatening emergencies, they don’t extend to out-of-hours charges if your pet could have safely been seen during normal vet hours. That said, we do still cover the standard consultation equivalent cost and any eligible veterinary treatment in those situations.
Our Boosters were designed to give our customers a more bespoke policy, tailored to their pet's individual needs and are clearly outlined in the quote journey and your policy documents.
All of our Boosters can be added or removed at any time throughout your policy period as your situation changes, you don’t have to wait until renewal to make any changes.
The Death benefit is calculated as a percentage of the purchase price declared on the policy when it is taken out. It is a standard requirement to provide proof of purchase for these claims to be validated.
Our appeals process gives your vet the opportunity to submit any further information that may not have been available when the claim was first assessed. Please contact us at claims@frankpetinsurance.co.uk and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Do not use this company
They will do anything not to pay out to you. They do not tell you they don't cover for medicine for use at home unless you tick a box, which they don't tell you about until after you put in a claim and therefore you can no longer claim due to changes made mid policy. Put a claim in for over £600 and got back £30. My cat got out down, cost me £513, I got £13 back. Don't waste your money on this company, save it and out it towards vet bills, it will be money better spent

AVOID. Please read!
Another one to add to insurers to avoid. Con artists. Trying to get out of paying £3000 for a claim where I took my dog for an Injury to her front leg. The vet reccomended a ct scan. Upon the ct scan findings there was secondary findings of hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia and spinal disease. (All nothing to do with why I had the scan).
They’ve refused my claim saying they don’t cover ongoing illnesses,and seen as these joint issues were happening over time,they said they deemed it underlying!!!! Even stating I made a claim for lameness last year ,which I did t because I didn’t even know of any joint issues and the vet hasn’t even got me down as being there on that specific date they claim I was!!!
But more to the point,I never even attended or claimed for these issues. The same procedure would have happened regardless.
STAY CLEAR. THEY WILL TRY ANYTHING TO NOT PAY OUT!!
Oh and they even asked me to send pictures of my dog after a claim was made!!! Which the vets said we’ve never come acrosss a company ask for pics of your dog!!

In response to Franks reply. There is no record at all of my pet having any history with joints,because she’s never had any!! So stop trying to twist this for people to see.
The way you reject claims goes against the Financial ombudsman grounds for it,as they clearly state. So anybody getting rejected for false pre existing rubbish,take it to the ombudsman,because they state basically that it’s wrong what insurers are doing.
And yes I know there’s a complaints procedure,and you’ll be getting that soon before I go to the ombudsman and out you for the scamming crooks you are!

If the information held on our records differs from the information provided by your vet, we need to validate those details before we can complete our assessment of the claim.
