I have recently had my cataract surgery with Freedom Vision at SpaMedica in Swindon. I have had the best care and experience I could have ever wished for. I felt very confident in the support I received and had no worries at all on the day of the procedure. I can’t thank staff enough for making me feel so comfortable, safe, and secure. Everything went according to plan and as soon as I sat up after having EMV lenses inserted I was surprise at what I could see. I have only been home 48 hours and I am amazed at how brilliant I feel and how wonderful my vision is - I really can’t speak highly enough and I have every confidence in recommending them. It’s the best thing I have ever done. Thank you to everyone involved!

I woke up the day after my bilateral op, removed the eye shields and read my emails so clearly: it is a miracle!There was no pain, just a tiny amount of discomfort during a very speedy procedure carried out beautifully by the surgeon Dr Chua at SpaMedica, Edge Lane in Liverpool. The staff were all very pleasant and I have great hopes that when the four weeks of eyedrops have finished I'll be able to work, drive and enjoy life without the inconvenience of spectacles or contact lenses.

A very pleasant environment with professional and polite staff. The transition into the pre-theatre room, which is almost magical and relaxing, was great. Excellence though was within the theatre where the calm surgeon explained each movement as it was performed (Mr Yudav) and I felt relaxed despite mild discomfort in the eye. After two days my vision is almost perfect and I have had no side effects. No eye patch, no sleeping upright, no eye drops and no pain killers needed.

I had bilateral cataract surgery 2 days ago in Worcester & I can't believe the difference in my sight. Already everything looks clear & colourful!
I was dreading the surgery as I'm so squeamish about eyes but the whole thing was amazing. All staff were lovely, everything was explained to me all the way along. I was ready to leave in a couple of hours, no glasses after 54 years of wearing them!

This was a seamless process the whole way through. Staff were pleasant, professional and reassuring. I was very anxious about the procedure but felt heard and reassured throughout.

Excellent service all round. Both cataracts removed over a period of 4 weeks. Ongoing aftercare also excellent. Mr El Amir and staff highly trained and efficient even though my cataracts were exceptionally hard. You really feel in safe hands.

I had an unsurpassable experience at Freedom Vision. The team are unfailingly professional, polite and reassuring.
All of the pre-work was carried out quickly and thoroughly and I was given clear advice by the team on the best way forward. The surgeon called me and answered any questions I had.
On the day of the surgery, I was treated with a lot of care and compassion. The operation itself was not painful and I was in and out in 20 minutes. The surgeon talked to me all of the way through, having spent time with me prior to the operation explaining exactly how things would work out.
I left the clinic feeling fine with some minor irritation in my eye. By the following morning, I took the cover off of my eye and I was astonished at the immediate change in vision and the lack of discomfort.

Fantastic service from Freedom Vision staff who were very 'warm' and patient throughout my procedure. The surgeon took his time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. Jeanette, one of the nurses explained what the after care consisted of numerous times as I was unable to retain the information after my cataract surgery in both my eyes. She was very patient and empathic. She also rang me the next day to see how I was coping. I would highly recommend this company.

I have just been discharged from Freedom Vision at SpaMedica Sheffield as a patient and I would particularly like to thank a young lady called Jessica for her kindness and care during both my eye surgeries. I now have 20/20 vision for the first time in my 75 years with the EMV lenses . All the reception staff,nurses , optometrists were friendly and efficient and explained the procedures. I felt at ease with the surgeons too and would like to thank Dr Mohamed Shahin. I would certainly recommend this company to others.
