Very good outcome with both eyes. All staff helpful and explained all procedures well. Appointments always on time. Just wish it was closer as I had to travel a long distance to get to Colchester.

After suffering many years with cloudy eyes I was desperate to get the surgery needed. My first impression of Freedom Vision was immediate, everyone was so friendly like an extended family. Warm and welcoming, I had a call from the surgeon who explained the details to me and what to expect. Believe me when I say, I was looking forward to it and couldn't wait was very true. The day of my surgery was a pleasure to be in the capable hands of so many proffessional and caring people. Most of the time is on preparing for the op which was painfree and over within a few minutes, I have honestly been in a dentist chair a lot longer than it took the amazing surgeon to carry out my surgery. The after care is equally as proffessional. Many many thanks to Freedom Vision. I would fully recommend the Freedom Vision Service to anyone.

Our experience at Freedom vision has been so nothing but incredible since the first appointment. My dad got his cataracts done in both eyes by Dr Kanj and they both went very smoothly and he has been looked after by Monika who went through everything with him and explained everything that would happen in the surgery and also payment options and has made everything so easy and personally I appreciate all the care and support she has given me & my dad. She also came through for me so I could get personal time off last minute from work so I could accompany my dad which I really appreciate! I couldn't recommend her enough and also all the other health technicians that work here who have given the upmost care to my dad with his eyes ❤️

Several aspects. There is far too much waiting around for starters - appointments given NHS style in batches, then a long wait. But as far as the optical service is concerned I’m far from happy with the RayOne Galaxy ‘varifocal’ I was recommended. I'm told everything measures fine (no specifics provided) but in real life what they do is some way short of what they claim to do. I’m using intermediate and reading glasses again - not what I thought I was paying eight grand for.

The location was very good for me, with bus, tram and trains close by, my first appointment was good, with the process being explained and the cost, the 12 months interest free credit being a good option. The surgery went well with me having the cataract removed and my short sighted being corrected, so no need for glasses, and all completed within weeks. Monika guided me throughout the process and introduced me to all the staff and my surgeon Dr Kanj, who did a wonderful and pain free job. I would recommend Freedom Vision.

The staff and surgeon were lovely, however, No surgeon at Exeter, uncertainty on dates for surgery as they were hoping a surgeon would come in. I had to chase what was happening before my surgery was scheduled. I was not seen for both my followup appointments on time. They were 2 hours+ late and staff had to leave work to catch their trains! As a result a discharge meeting could take place and had to be held over the phone. The wait times of over 2 hours for appointments were due to overbooking, running 2 clinics at the same time and everyone needing scans. As a private patient this is far from the standard expected. I have written to the COO of Freedom Vision with these concerns but had no response as yet.

After having my second cataract surgery, privately I made several return visits as my vision was not clear. I was advised on each visit I might need laser treatment nut on the last was told this is not necessary.
I am now on the NHS waiting list as my vision has deteriorated due to the bad that contained thenew lens has crumpled.
FREEDOM VISION has advised me I must pay privately for laser treatment.

I normally don’t write reviews, I’m someone who feels that if you do your job well, there is no need.
However I have just been been signed off for my second eye cataract surgery and would like to thank all those involved in bringing this about.
It was a long haul as my second eye was so bad after an accident back in my teens that a lens had to be made specially to correct my vision. It took about six weeks to make, but I was kept informed of progress regularly.
I have nothing but praise for the people who saw me throughout. From the security guys, reception and medical team, to the optometrists, the surgeon and of course Hannah. As my point of contact, Hannah was there to answer my questions and kept me up to date with progress.
Once again thanks one and all. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t see you again for a long, long time.

Excellent and friendly service all the time

I had lenses replacement surgery on both eyes. The sure was completely successful and I happy with the results.
The communication from the administration person was Bad. There was no conformation by either email or phone. When ringing to confirm a verbal appointment I would get the answer phone, I would leave a message, but that would be ignored. Since I was paying a lot of money, I expected better service.

Freedom Vision delivered exactly the result I wanted. My aim was to be spectacle free following my cataract surgery, having worn varifocal lenses for most of my life. Freedom Vision suggested correcting one eye for distance and one for near vision. The excellent results were life changing.
All treatment was given with reassuring care and consideration.

I'm so glad I had the eye Surgery that the very caring eye surgeon recommended. I'm very pleased with the result and only need glasses for close work.

I needed cataract surgery and from my first meeting with Hannah I was put at ease and taken through the whole process with an initial consultation and eye examination. The surgeon discussed my options to give me the best outcome. I had both eyes done on the same day and the improvement in vision has changed my life. The aftercare has been thorough and professional with caring and friendly professionals.

Thanks to everyone at Freedom Vision in Bromley for giving me a positive experience throughout my time with them.  I was very nervous to have the procedure, but it went smoothly and led to an excellent outcome.  Having had my cataracts removed from both eyes and RayOne Galaxy Toric multifocal replacement lenses fitted, I now have amazing eyesight for distant, intermediate and near vision.  I am especially grateful to the optometrist and the surgeon for their expertise and care, and to the Patient Liaison Manager who always made me feel well supported.  

From start to finish I was treated in a professional and caring way by helpful and efficient staff who made me feel that at all times I was in capable and welcoming hands. Thank you .

The Chester branch gave excellent service for my capsulotomy. My vision in the affected eye is now as sharp as that of the left. The procedure was entirely painless, if anyone feels apprehensive about it.

Very happy with the eye surgery at Spa Medical. The surgeon was first class and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. I chose multifocal lenses because I play the piano and the intermediate distance for reading music was becoming a problem. Not anymore, it’s like a miracle.

I attended the Balby Doncaster branch for cataract surgery and I have to say what a fantastic experience I have had from start to finish, Great communication from all the staff especially marie who made the whole process effortless,

This is not my first visit to freedom and probably not my last. They're always so genuinely helpful and friendly. Nothing is to much trouble and always so professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend freedom.

Very friendly and professional staff. Every time I attended an appointment I was treated so well and felt reassured and took away any nerves I had. The results are wonderful, I was very short sighted and now have 20/20 vision and only need glasses for reading. Special mention to Kayleigh for her friendliness. Thank you to all the staff.
