These guys are on my doorstep
These guys are on my doorstep, and I found them by accident thank goodness. My Aunt lost her remote for her garage door the Engineer was booked in for the next day, arrived on time, tried various remotes to no avail further investigation he found the solution. Explained the next move ordered the part and when fitted she will be able to access via the garage door instead of walking all the way around the House to get to the back door a great find.

Con Men
Didn't even try to repair the door, they tried to sell me a complete new door or motor mechanism. Told me how bad Henderson doors are despite the fact there are 5 in our cul delivery sac all twenty years old. I had a local company come out, they advised Henderson spares are readily available, the part is on order.

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the recommendation provided during the visit. Our technician’s advice would have been based on their assessment of the condition of the door and the options they believed were appropriate at the time.
We do, however, strongly disagree with being described as “con men”. This is simply not an accurate or fair representation of our business or the service we provide.
Where a technician believes that replacement of a door or motor mechanism is the most appropriate option, this will be explained and quoted accordingly. There is never any obligation to proceed with our recommendation, and customers are always free to decline the quotation, seek a second opinion and shop around.
We appreciate that another company has subsequently suggested that a repair using replacement Henderson parts may be possible, and we hope this provides a satisfactory resolution for you.
We are always happy to receive constructive feedback, but we would respectfully ask that comments about our company remain fair and factual.

The Repairman friendly - repair cost extortionate
The Repairman was friendly and explained the process of the repair he was undertaking. The repair was done efficiently but the price of the repair was extortionate for the actual hinges that were fitted. I would have gone elsewhere had I not required items from the garage promptly.

They quoted me £1,160 to repair the door , another company repaired the door in 20 minutes for £140 including parts.we still had to pay the £19.95
It really pays to get more than one quote

Our technicians assess each door in person and provide a quotation based on the work they believe is required to complete the repair correctly. All prices are advised before any work is carried out, and there is never any obligation to proceed. Customers are always free to decline the quotation, seek a second opinion and shop around.
The £19.95 charge covers the technician attending and assessing the door, regardless of whether the quotation is subsequently accepted.
We appreciate that another company was able to offer you a different repair solution at a lower cost, and we’re pleased that you were able to get the door working again.
As you rightly say, customers are always welcome to obtain more than one quotation before deciding how they wish to proceed.
