Arrived quickly, all in order - great prices. Will definitely order again

Been in the (Lisbon) shop: excellent range, ever-helpful staff, realistic prices. In fact, sufficiently impressive that my musings to my UK son encouraged him to organise a couple of bottles for my birthday.
THEN the problems. GN engaged TNT to deliver in time for my birthday. Tracking details provided shewed the package loaded on to the van for at least five consecutive days -notwithstanding that that period extended beyond my birthday- but apparently the delivery van couldn't find the house I have lived in for the past fourteen years, easily identifiable on Google maps. Pity, but at least there are other -Portuguese-options. Which is good, I need to replenish my own supplies.

Would give no stars if I could. Was literally robbed. Ordered a bottle of port for Christmas delivery to family but it never arrive and the company won't answer my emails.
Daylight robbery giving Portugal a bad name, shame on them.

Why would anyone in their right mind purchase a 12 year old whiskey for such an outrageous price.

You can get a top quality Bushmills 25 year old DOUBLE the years, and at cask strength!! for €380. This store is a complete Rip off store!

Here buy a real quality whiskey wayyy cheaper.

Order delivered to wrong address and NO replies to numerous emails, phone calls, messages to rectify

Very bad experience on the order processing and the customer services in particular. It took them one week to process the order and the birthday gift was ruined. Also they refused to use any speed up delivery services as I requested for such options. Also nether confirmed the tracking number for the order.

Talking to the chat in their website no resolution. They requested to send an email reporting the problem.

Comprei vinhos de Azores com eles, mas não entregaram todos os vinhos.
A encomenda chegou faltando Dois vinhos. Conversando com o chat deles não resolveu nada, pediu pra enviar um email sobre o assunto.

Have dealt with this company online for a number of years and cannot fault their service. I live in N Spain, ordered a purchase on Friday night 31/08/18 and was advised yesterday Wed 05/09/18 by email that my purchase would be delivered today, Thurs 06/09/18 between 10.45 and 11.45; almost exactly at 11.45 the man from courier company SEUR was at my door with my delivery immaculately packed since it contained bottles. Would recommend Garrafeira Nacional to anybody contemplating ordering from them online.

I have been shopping wine I almost every wine producing country in Europe but Garrafiera Nacional is by far the most incompetent dealer I have dealt with. It could be Garrafiera Nacional is the biggest wine dealer in Lisbon with a large selection of Portuguese wines. That’s the reason I decided to placed an order on there website. But it was disappointing to experience the a messy handling of my order.
Nevertheless, I recently placed a new order. Of course, it's my mistake to place a new order at Garrafeira Nacional after my first sad experience - I should have known better. But in my excuse, I didn’t think they could perform so poorly twice - boy I was wrong ...

Receiving orders, packing wine in boxes and sending the boxes to customers is not exactly rocket science. I would think that a normal gifted 10-year-old could solve that task. But for this company everything seems difficult!!
As you can probably sense, it has been quite a desert hike dealing with Garrafiera Nacional and I have spent unreasonably much time on long correspondences, but here I will only share some of the bigger issues I have experienced:

Broken agreements they have suggested themselves - Intentionally or due to incompetence? I don't know.

Ads products on the website they don’t have - Intentionally or due to lack of overview? I don’t know.

Lack of delivery of ordered and paid wine - Intentionally or due to incompetence? I don’t know.

If you like frustrations in your life, have plenty of time to waste and like to lose money, you have definitely come to the right place. If not - DO YOUR SHOPPING ELSEWHERE!!!
