It feels sturdy in hand, well made but not amazing at first look. Tested the fire starter and manage to make fire at garden, but not using in real scenario yet. Loop on the seath to put belt through is little smaller. Hope it pass the test in real, looking forward to use it soon.

I purchased the tool as a gift for my husband. The knife and engraving were great, but the belt clip was absolutely rubbish, it just kept on falling off. It wasn't attached in any way, other than being bent and using its own metal as a spring. On drills, these have a small screw and this would be a much better idea. You wouldn't be able to use it as it would fall off. A real shame as I had to return because of this issue.

Bought the Ultimate Survival Knife. I got custom engraving done. Was easy to sort and get what I wanted done. The Engraving was spot on and looks great.

Absolute game changer. I can now process must larger logs and branches of dead standing tree’s. Also helps me contain fires whilst wild camping by cutting smaller pieces . Great bit of kit !

I ordered a Gerber hunting knife for my adult son as a gift. He is a keen walker and trekker. I also had it engraved. The knife is very robust and beautifully crafted and comes with a substantial sheath.
Although I have not given him the gift yet as it is for Christmas, I know he will be thrilled with it.
I thought that it was reasonably priced and it is of excellent quality and weight.
The engraving is on the blade and has added a personal touch.

I bought my Gerber in 2004 at a BX in Iraq.
I used it until this year when the mechanism parts broke off. Gerber put me in touch with their UK warranty ppl Fiskars.
They told me to send them a pic of the tool inc broken parts, I did so and they identified the model from the pic. 2 days later I got an email saying " your replacement is on its way. Today the exact same brand new Gerber arrived by courier.
Now, THATS a guarantee!!!

Can't fault my recent order from the Gerber store. I was pleasantly surprised that it was slightly cheaper than on Amazon. All went smoothly, including the online age check. It was delivered in a couple days by Royal Mail who, since it is a bladed product, have to ring the bell and hand it to you, rather than just post it like normal mail. That's to be expected. Will order direct from the Gerber store next time I want one of their products.
