We love shopping with GLTC - products are beautiful and our girls love playing with them. Delivery is always quick and simple and have found the customer service great too

We have several GLTC toys, which we’ve enjoyed since my little boy was a baby. Our favourites are the shop & lovely accompanying wooden foods. We’ve had hours of endless play with the post office and coffee shop & my son loves playing shop keepers with his wooden till. My favourite shop when it comes to durable, child friendly toys!

My little girl absolutely adores her wooden play kitchen. It’s such a lovely design and great for role play. We have the wooden chopping vegetables and fruit which is great for learning new skills. My little one loves cutting them and saying ‘chop.’ Beautifully created toys that are made to last, perfect for little ones and adored by parents too!

Absolutely love this company! We recently got one of their bookshelves and its the perfect pink😍. Arrived super quickly!

We absolutely love our Great Little Trading Co. products. The kids play with the wooden post office toy every day and love snuggling reading books in the play tent. Amazing products, great quality and such a variety to choose from.

We got our toddler tower from Great Little Trading company and it’s been a lifesaver for food prepping with our toddler! He loves it and it’s stylish enough to actually look lovely in our kitchen too, the chalk board is a fun touch as well! Highly recommend

Fantastic customer service as always and the best made and quality toys and furniture we’ve had for the children. We’ve had the beanbags which are super comfy big and beautifully coloured, the play kitchen which has been incredible for imaginative play and the play market - fabulous for little ones wanting to role play. Would 100% recommended

We've ordered a few bits from GLTC now and the quality has always been fab. Great value for money and we'd definitely shop from again.

We have bought so many products form GLTC over the course of all 3 children. Beds, cots and a wide range of toys. My go to place for presents for family and friend’s children. Great value for money and last forever! Also had lots of their toys in my classroom that have lasted so long even though played with daily with a class of 30. Highly recommended!!

We absolutely love the pen caddy for organising our crafts and pens. Very easy to put together and the quality is AMAZING

Ordered on the 22nd jan and still not here, a tiny item, excuses and no further response. Used to be a good company, many previous purchases. Now terrible!

Sadly a bad experience as I really wanted it to be good.
My parcel was delivered to the wrong address and no refund has been made. Delivery photo clearly shows a completely different property with a different house number. Driver also forged my husbands signature with is fraud. No refund from great little trading company.

I don’t often write reviews but wanted to highlight the great service I’ve just received from GLTC. When my daughter’s bed broke recently, I realised it was still under warranty and so contacted customer service - they couldn’t have been more helpful. They immediately offered to send replacement parts, which they did at speed enabling me to fix the bed within a week of it breaking. My daughter loves her Star Bright bed and now she can sleep in it again. Thanks GLTC, very much appreciated!

I contacted GLTC Customer Service for teepee assembly steps, and Sally got back to me right away with friendly, useful help. Excellent customer care. Thanks, Sally and GLTC!

*Update 2*

Despite promising me an update last Thursday 29 January, GLTC are now ignoring me, including my requests that either a new order ship or they issue me a full refund.

The item has still not moved in the tracking since last Monday (a week ago) and the courier also refuse to engage with me as I'm not the retailer, so I can only assume it's been lost. 3.5 weeks wasted and nowhere to store our baby's clothes before he arrives next week. Utterly appalling customer service all round. I have now been left with no choice but to initiate a chargeback claim with my credit card provider. Zero stars should be given.

*Update 1*

Knocking another star off as it's been over 3 weeks since I ordered and 5 days since GLTC's chosen delivery partner received the item. In that time it hasn't moved from the "collection depot" and GLTC have just shrugged their shoulders and said it's no longer their problem. The biggest joke is the item I ordered is now back on sale and saying delivery within 5 days.

My first baby hasn't even arrived yet and they've already lost me as a customer. If you read this review, no I would not recommend the stress and hassle of purchasing from them. I will be spreading the word far and wide via my mums network. Sick to death of retailers thinking they can treat customers like this, especially during the already stressful time of preparing for baby.

3 weeks and still waiting for my item. Updates have been non-existent. Will update if I ever receive the item. Not impressed at all with the communication or service from GLTC.

I ordered a lot of items from great little trading company, some of which were for my daughter’s birthday. I didn’t hear from them for 16 days and when I did it was to tell me an item they let me order was actually out of stock and they didn’t know when it would be back. This is extremely poor customer service, I have now missed my daughters birthday and I am still yet to receive the rest of my order. Do not order from this company!

My furniture order took over 3 weeks to arrive and when it did there was damage on some parts of the cabinet. It’s a shame as we’ve bought some lovely toys and storage baskets from here before and really like their products. I’m not sure what’s going on with them at the moment but it’s put me off buying any larger items from them again.

After another 20 e mails they’ve admitted there is no toy on its way.

I am going to take this to the Ombudsman because companies like this should not be allowed to exist.

They hide behind no way of contacting them and automatic responses. I will buy from IKEA so much for trying to back British - don’t bother!

15 e mails so far with no information

I am devastated with this company’s service. I ordered an expensive kitchen toy for my grandson’s first birthday yesterday and I have no idea when it will arrive. I write every day but get AI generated ridiculous ‘thank you for reaching out…’ e mails. Since when has ‘reaching out’ been a thing? I’m upset beyond belief as I received an e mail this morning from their courier stating that if GLTC have told you we have your parcel it’s not true and they will have to pick it up themselves! What does this all mean? Have I lost my money?

Do not buy from this company it’s a total scam!

The product was good but the customer service is unsatisfactory. There is no telephone number so I had to complain about the non delivery by email. Response by the customer service department was slow, initially anonymous and, at one point, completely erroneous in that I was told my parcel had been delivered - the photo they sent me by email showed the wrong parcel, the wrong address and the wrong signature. In the end, I chased up the delivery myself by phoning FedEx and fighting my way past the AI bot until I finally got through to a human who sorted it all out pretty quickly.
GLTCo needs a customer service phone number or at least a faster and more accurate email system.
