GO Outdoors - Bakewell (Express) Avis 

Buying a new hiking backpack with so much choice and with specific requirements in mind I opted for the Osprey Stratos 36L.
Had to be ordered into Bakewell. The Store Manager Roger was very helpful and the pack arrived today for me to collect at the store.
Very happy with it and the service.

The staff were very helpful but not pushy! They were very happy to share their product knowledge and advice. I will be going back!

Called in to buy a couple of OS maps that were not in stock. The staff were really helpful and ordered them to be delivered to my home. I like this size of store as opposed to the bigger ones.

Visiting the Bakewell (Express) store today, I was assisted by James in making my purchase. I had ordered some trousers online and was due to collect the trousers from the Bakewell store, but I received an email informing me that the online ordering process had encountered a problem. When I explained this to James he immediately focused on helping me to select the pair of trousers from the store which I had ordered the day before online. James was admirably efficient and most friendly, with a first-class customer service ethos. I will be making more purchases from the Bakewell store in the future, knowing that the service is excellent and that the selection of lines stocked is comprehensive and very good value for money.

Firstly a good stock range - it is an interesting shop to browse. I was after boots, the assistant find me a pair that fitted and suited my requirements with ease.
I was served by one of Tom, Morgan or Toby, not sure which.

I visited the shop in Bakewell twice recently, each time to buy a pair of walking boots, once for my son and once for my partner. Each time, my family members said they were very pleased with the service they had, and the knowledge of the sales assistants in helping them choose the right pair. In addition, there was a good range of products available.

Roger was very helpful. I knew what I wanted, he found it for me and the whole transaction was simple and quick. And we had a good chat about walking.

Roger did me a massive favour in sorting out the return for my sleeping bag half way through my camping holiday, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the equipment and stock in store really appreciate them.

Tom provided excellent customer service; listened to what was important to us, asked questions to understand how we would be using the walking boots and then made suggestions and gave advice on different makes and options.

We visited at the weekend Toby who served us was really patient and helpful.

Professional and quick service. Ordered some tent pegs as the ones that came with the tent were rubbish. Got a good deal on 20 pegs for £6! Thank you :)

Visited this store whilst on a day out in Bakewell. My daughter needed a new pair of walking boots/trainers. Tom was so helpful and knowledgable about what would be best for her (she has awkward feet!). My partner also needed some new walking socks and Roger was on hand to help with this. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience with great customer service! They also gave our dog a treat!

Called into this Branch whilst visiting The Peak District ( from West Sussex ) Good location in Bakewell and spoke with Roger. Very helpful, professional and friendly. I was seeking a particular pair of blue walking trousers seen in another Branch. One remaining pair in my size ( 38 Long) in stockroom and tried them on. Excellent fit and style. Joined their Discount scheme and saved £20 straightaway. Good selection of general outdoor clothing and equipment. Recommended.
