GO Outdoors - Banbury Avis 

What a lovely visit to the Banbury store I had on Tuesday to buy a replacement waterproof coat.
Shaun was so helpful and informative about all of the products in-store and their individual qualities and negatives based on my needs.
Walking my dog daily, I need a lightweight, breathable and waterproof jacket; he patiently assisted me trying on several, whilst informing me about each one. He welcomed my dog too! The young lady on the til was equally pleasant and engaging.
I left the store feeling I’d just received the best Service possible - a feeling that’s not always received when shopping!
The Jacket purchased is perfect for wet summer walks and as it’s rained every day since purchase, it has been used alot already. Thanks Shaun… super service!

Super experience today. Called to check if my preferred walking shoe was in stock and my query was handled in competent and friendly way by Jess who put a couple of sizes on the side for me to try on. Drove over and spent about 25 minutes deciding on a size with cheerful chat and input from Shaun and Umar. No Sales Pressure at all!! Paid with new Member discount arranged by the "other" Jess and left the store with a plan to return for clothing next time. Spacious and modern store - top marks!! Thanks, Phil

We went to look for the rucksack for my son for his DofF. We were so lucky to meet a Shaun. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Shaun measured my son and adjusted the rucksack to meet my son’s needs. Shaun also gave us some tips. Thank you so much! Keep up your great work!

Despite there being no email to say my order was at the store for collection, the whole experience was very good. Easy to order online, goods were at the store on the day promised. The lady on the other end of the phone at customer service couldn't have been any more helpful and thorough, even calling the collection store to confirm everything was there. The staff in the Banbury store are always excellent and the collection experience was no different. They were aware of the collection, my name and everything was ready for me and checked through to make sure it was correct. All in all great staff, who all seemed pretty happy at work and gave excellent service with a friendly smile.

Spoke to Shaun for tent advise he was knowledgeable and very friendly, a credit to Go Outdoors we did buy a tent thanks to his help.

Tom from the Banbury Store was really helpful when we bought our new camping stove. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very informative and genuinely seemed happy to help.

As soon as we got in the shop we were approached by one member of the team which gave us advise and share very good informations which help us to decide what was the best product for us to buy. £5 more expensive than Amazon, which is what I just paid to buy a members card. Do I feel conned? Yes. Pretty sure it's illegal too.

It’s the staff that are so helpful here and knowledgeable about their products. Rosie was the same staff member who helped me buy boots & trainers before- so consistency is also good because you know you’ll be getting good advice.

We went into the shop having no clue which rucksack and other accessories we should purchase for our daughters’ Duke of Edinburgh trip. Shaun was absolutely amazing lots of attention to detail didn’t push the most expensive product but was very informative we came away with a completed list of products purchased and very grateful for his help and advice an invaluable member of staff that should be rewarded for all his efforts

I usually abhor going shopping but Shaun was very patient and persistent in trying to find something that would suit me and his humor made it quite enjoyable. I appreciate the trouble you went to mate
