Let me just say David B, what a guy! Me and my fella came in to exchange a tent because we bought a massive tent for a family trip but then our teenage kids decided they didn’t want to come and he could not have made this process easier, he was happy, helpful, cheery and couldn’t do enough for us. I wish that all the staff here were just like him, because he’s 100/10! Thanks so much David B for being amazing!

Bought some items on Thursday, got home to try them out to find one item wasn't sized as well as it advertised. Came back on Friday to exchange and was advised as this was a sale item, there was limited stock, but I coukd exchange it for items of same value. When I had made my choices, I took items to the till and was served by Lee who gave me all the information I needed about the return and also product sizing for future reference. A quick simple and easy process. Very happy with the service provided.

The store exchanged a pair of walking boots which had developed a fault (squeaking sole that got worse over a period of several months). This exceeded my expectations as I'd had the boots for about 10 months. This represents exceptional customer service. I am very happy with the exchange and hope these boots last me for years to come.

Great range of stock but struggled to find the pumps for air tents. Staff were helpful and friendly. Was served by Lee who was great! and assisted by another but didn't catch her name.

Callum was an absolute star! Buying roof bars when you need them ASAP, and have zero clue what you're looking for. Callum made the whole process incredibly simple. Outstanding customer service!!!!

The staff were so helpful and accomodating and all 3 people I encountered especially Neil went above and beyond what I experience in most stores.As I'm disabled and basically had,had enough with the pain in my knees and hips, Neil mentioned something downstairs at the till which interested me and as I felt I couldn't manage another trip upstairs he went up and brought it down for me to look at. I also purchased that item which just shows that going the extra mile can mean further sales. An excellent experience with each member of staff being very dedicated,friendly and all appearing to enjoy their jobs.Also for somewhere I didn't know that actually sold fishing tackle,I will certainly be visiting again as I found it also to be very competitively priced too.

Bought a large tent from Go Outdoor in Bury 12/18 months ago and unfortunately one of the valves on one of the air arches had failed 😞. I called into store and Neil was super at understanding what had happened looking at the air arch and resolved my problem by sourcing a replacement air arch. All within a week. Thanks Neil! You are a credit to Go Outdoors. Great customer service

Came in to buy a load of camping gear and some replacement poles for my tent.
Tom offered to not only replace, but then repair the existing poles and fit with the new. Meaning I wouldn't have the hassle of trying to do so myself.
I left Tom with the poles whilst I went off get other stuff. Came back and it was all done, behind the till and good to go.
Great service. And a great shop.

Neil provided excellent customer service. A bike I purchased from the Wigan branch needed adjusting and unfortunately the bike tech was on his lunch. Seeing this was a quick fix, Neil made the adjustment and I was on my way.

Made a big ticket purchase of an electric bike today at Go Outdoors, so understandably I had a few questions. Tom was really helpful in answering them and offering advice. I feel confident that if I have any issues I'll be able to bring the bike back in and get any help I need. The entire process was easy, and I managed to get myself home on the bike afterwards! Feels great and I'm looking forward to using it day to day.

Well maintained store. Really helpful staff. We wanted to buy shorts for my husband and needed to renew my membership to take advantage of the membership prices. I also wanted to use the discount provided by my Blue Light card.
Two members of staff, Dave and Thando, were brilliant in helping me to navigate the process and they assisted us with ordering some shorts online too. They were helpful and very patient. Great customer service!
It’s a pity that when the shorts arrived they had marks on them so I had to get a refund.
