Visited the Chesterfield store to purchase a good quality coat. Sales assistant was very knowledgeable and patient explaining about the differences between then. She was very patient and understanding- thank you. I did purchase a Montane Hydron GTC. Very happy . Thank you

Picked up my click and collect order. (Ready in a short time after ordering). The member of staff was really helpful and friendly.

I was served today by Athena, she was really friendly and very helpful, she put my jackets in my bag as I was having difficulty. In my opinion she is a valuable member of staff.

We popped into go outdoors today for the first time we were very surprised how big a store it was, and the amount of choice I got a few bargains, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Athena who served us on the till

Called in today for a hiking backpack for a birthday present. I discussed my needs with Jenson the shop assistant who seemed to know everything about everything to do with the great outdoors. He recommended the perfect pack for my requested needs and then I was served by a lovely young lady called Athena who was very nice. Both assistants are a credit to Go Outdoors and I'll be back again to buy Christmas presents in a few days time.

I asked a member of staff where I would find binoculars. Although he was busy with a task he made the time to take me to the other end of the store to find them.

When I got to the till I asked about becoming a member before I purchased a product. I was served by Susie who took me through the process very politely and efficiently.

Both members of staff made things so easy for me and I'm really grateful for that.

Early morning visit so not busy. Salesman Richard very helpful and knowledgeable. Gave me plenty of time to decide which boots I wanted

David was very knowledgeable in helping me find the right walking boots and he gave me his undivided attention. Unfortunately in the end there was nothing suitable...but he stood out because of his honest in depth knowledge of the stock and the time he devoted to helping me.

Richard was brilliant. Very patiently advised me on several pairs of shoes in several sizes as I deliberated. I ended up getting his recommendation and so far so good!

Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the staff member I chatted with however he was working in the footwear department between 9-10am on 01/11/25. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, he made a fuss of my dog and was sure to check if I needed any assistance. I found exactly what I was looking for with no problems at all.
I was served promptly at the till by Mellie (I think that's spelt correctly!) and overall had a great experience shopping at the Chesterfield branch.

This is the first time i have been in this shop and most certainly not the last,, i went in for a shower coat and not a rain

Would NOT recommend any Outwell tent after our experience. Went to Cornwall for a camping holiday during half term with our children. The first bit of rain and wind it absolutely poured in through the seams on the tent and 5 poles broke like a warm knife through butter. It ruined everything within the tent including a new electric cool box and power point. We also had to cut our holiday short due to this appalling tent failing on us. The tent wasn't cheap either.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing any Outwell tent due to our experience. They charge an absolute fortune but the quality is absolutely appalling.
If it helps just one family or anyone avoid what we went through then that makes us feel a happy.
Nothing against Go-Outdoors just leaving reviews wherever Outwell sell products.
