GO Outdoors - Edinburgh Avis 

My wife and myself came to GoOutdoors today 29/4/26 looking for new boots. Was helped by a young girl (sorry didn't get your name). Had a good chat about different boots etc and we both found what we wanted. She also took our boots to the check out to allow us a look around the store with having to carry them around with us. When we went to checkout where Jane explained return policy if required. Really impressed with both members of staff who know their stuff.

Well stocked. Picked up a great Hunter parka long jacket in the sale. Saved £125

Ordered jacket for store collection. Arrived within 3 days and process went smoothly. Happy with purchase.

Fraser in the Granton store in Edinburgh was brilliant - I needed a new bike pump - he got the correct one - showed me how to use it and then checked and corrected my tyre pressure pumping them up - he was brilliant

Very friendly and helpful staff. Jane helped me understand the various discounts and got me signed up as a member to get the best deals and Leo helped me out to my car with everything I couldn't carry. Excellent customer service, thank you.

Brilliant service as always at Go Outdoors in Granton. Helped by Jane at the tills who sought out kit i couldn't find, quickly renewed my membership and made sure I got the discounts I could qualify for.

Bought the £5 membership to get the bike cheaper. But it sells at the discount price at Tiso and other places all the time so it's a fake discount really.

If you intend to buy other stuff from them to kit out for a camping trip for example and need all the gear it might be worth it.
Bike arrived on time and well packaged.

Came in looking for a large hiking backpack for upcoming trips. Left with a new found sense of dignity, self-esteem, and also a large hiking backpack.

We were helped by Stuart, who both expertly fitted the packs to our backs, and showered us with compliments.

Stuart, who humbly claimed to be "just the bike guy", provided better service and worked with greater charm than I would expect from the head concierge of The Savoy.

For the rest of my days, I will be unable to run after a train or look at my own shoulders without being reminded of the bond we shared.

Julia was great dealing with me as i struggled to get my new Nebo Torchy 2k flashlight to work, she kindly let me borrow a charger to test in store amd asked for help from Harp who was able to figure out that the charging end screws off and a seal needs to be removed (the sticker on the torch was in french and not very obvious) Please thank Julia for her patience and help make an awkward situation a great experience

We didn’t find what we were shopping for I.e. two roller travel bags but then we found various garments for our forthcoming holiday in the Far East - result! Then Jane served us at the check out both efficiently and politely. A good visit and we will return.

Found a good selection to choose from and everything we wanted.
