As a single mum who has just had to find new housing due to an abusive relationship breakdown leading to me fleeing my home, I applied to see if I could get support after seeing them advertised on a work noticeboard. GroceryAid have helped with an incredible sum that means I can get flooring and appliances I desperately needed as left everything behind when I left. The process was difficult proving so much with sending documents in but it was worth it in the end. Thank you so much.

Completely useless on the Grant side. Applied for a grant due to loss of income not allowing me to cover a £2.5k dental bill and was refused due to not meeting the criteria of:
You’ve experienced a traumatic event causing financial crisis
Someone in your household with a long-term disability or illness
You are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness
You have had a relationship breakdown
You have left an abusive relationship

Why even have dental bill as an option at the application stage?

Complete waste of time.

Advertisement on wall at work Depot(Shopping Delivery Driver) led me to believe that it was there to help us in the industry on lower wages and struggling in this cost of living crisis. What it doesn't make clear is it seems that you are only eligible if you are receiving in work Benifits. Wasted 3 weeks of my time ,just make that clear up front please would spare lots of lower paid folks hope and mental health

Complete waste of time. Took over 6 weeks to decline my application despite me meeting the criteria.

Applied 5 months ago, still haven’t looked at my application for a loan and won’t allow me to put another application is because I already had one
