I bought a Muscle Motion 3-in-1 Wooden Plyometric Box - good price, quick delivery, great product.

My only complaint is with the false marketing Gym Direct does with regards to their discount codes and likely their rewards. More specifically, they advertised a "WELCOME20" code which takes $20 off your first order if you sign up an account with them. However, the WELCOME20 code does not actually work in accordance with the terms displayed on their website. That is, when I tried applying the code to my order I got an error indicating the code is not applicable to the items in the cart. I called their support number and was told the order must be over $200 to use the WELCOME20 code. Although their website indicates orders over $100 are eligible, which is why I signed up to get the code in the first place.

I contacted their sales and support email about this, but they did not respond. However, ironically, a few days later they did send me an email invite to sign up to their free membership to earn reward points which can be converted to more discount codes. I expect these other discount codes will have similar misleading spending criteria that either change over time or are not reflected properly in the website terms.

They've since updated the terms on their site for the WELCOME20 coupon code to reflect it only applies on orders over $200. That's a nice follow-up at least, and better than them ignoring the situation entirely.

Trouble free experience.

Ordered a couple of 2.5kg weight plates on a Sunday and they were at my door by Friday.

The weight plates are a fraction tighter than my other plates, so I notice they don’t slide on and off the bar as easy, but certainly no big deal. They do exactly what they need to do.

The product is more less as described (weight vest w removable weights) but much bulkier than I was expecting ring and also came with no instructions for how to attach/use the straps…I’m not a stupid person but I’m still trying to figure it out (weirdly long double sided Velcro strap and a buckle that isn’t attached to anything…) it’s ok but I probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone who just wanted to get a vest for help w weight bearing exercise.

Not a good experience at all !
Ordered a bike that came with a mat. It looked in the advertisement that it was bike and mat. Unfortunately it was ONLY the mat 😡. Was VERY misleading, unclear, and false advertising! Now I’m stuck waiting for my refund, which has not happened yet, and having to pay for sending this useless mat back, which STILL has not been picked up, after having been organised two or three days ago. Not happy being out of pocket through misleading ad. Will not be purchasing from this company again and will warn other people of my experience. Buyer beware.

Online shopping and ordering was great and easy to use. Shipping was a breeze and tracking of shipments was on point.
Both sets of equipment was easy to assemble (excellent instructions) and tremendous to use.
Minor drawback was one of acorn nuts (fastens the handles to the backrest support) on the hyperextension equipment was faulty (thread stripped) (replaced with a similar nut from home)

The quality of the material, the efficiency the get products out to you and the great communication and service throughout the process from purchasing to delivery is second to none. The only place I purchase gym equipment from.

The updating of my order progress was very good in keeping me in the loop. The cardboard packaging of the weights was quite damaged but no issues with condition of plates

My package arrived with one weight missing. It looks like one may have dropped out in transit. The team on the phone were very helpful and arranged for another weight to replace the one I was missing.
