I had used them for years! Gutted that the shop has closed. Rachel is lovely and always went above and beyond. She was the life blood of the shop.

Order an item costing £50 that never arrived, despite several emails and many months later they will not give me my money back. Fellow Fishkeepers , avoid this place ! BUYERS BEWARE!

Rachel was the best thing that ever happened to H2O Aquatics. She was caring, professional and a pleasure to speak to. I enjoyed our chats and would have happily purchased items when dealing with her.

Unfortunately Jon, her partner and I believe business owner is a rude individual, I never enjoyed speaking to him and wouldn’t want to willingly give him a penny.

Absolutely terrible service, ordered two Ai Hydra edge lights including the brackets £1000+ the units arrived 3 months later. I understand there has been shipping issues with these particular lights, however the brackets never arrived. They told me there was a manufacturing issue and they would be with me soon..No response and I guess they are out of business now!
They still owe me money or the products, robbed me of £250!

Ordered goods in may, chased in june told awaiting delivery. Chased again beginning of July and told had been sent end of the previous week but no tracking number ! Gave a couple more days to find the thieving sod has closed the business and no further contact can be made. It is now obvious that there was no intention to supply. As this is fraud I hope that my credit card company and PayPal take legal action as this is going to cost them alot of money in refunds. I hope when they catch up with him that he gets what he deserves.

If there was an option for 0 stars that’s what I would select. Ordered items on 16th May. Had a couple of items sent then nothing. After chasing the rest of my order constantly and being told they were waiting for items coming into stock I still haven’t had the rest of the items. I now believe the store is closed but on the weekend prior to closing they had a special offer weekend then closed on the Monday. I think this was a tactic to scam as much money as possible from people before closing down which is absolutely criminal. Iam now trying to get my £350 back through PayPal. This was once a reputable place so I don’t know how it changed into an absolute shambles. I’ve spoken to a few others which have had the same issues so I bet there are a lot of people out there in the same boat. Owners should be ashamed of themselves.

After I paid for items marked as in stock the company told me for weeks that more stock was coming and my order would be shipping soon. Then last week they started ignoring my emails. Now the shop is closed.

My husband ordered 2 things for his lights that came to Almost £200 all together. He ordered one last month and one last week. He has been emailing Jon and Jon was replying telling him where to send the money via PayPal. Now Jon isn't replying to emails and the shop is apparently permanently closed. Absolutely disgusting taking someone's money for something when you're no longer in business. That is called Fraud and apparently where not the not the only ones who have been stolen from. He should be ashamed of himself absolutely disgusting.

I ordered an item as birthday gift back on the 23th may. I had heard nothing so I emailed on the 13th june, as I had been phoning no stop and it was just continuous ringing. I reieved a response saying item was coming from Germany and would arrived within one week .
I then emailed again on the 4th July asking where my item was. The response was it had arrived and would be out for delivery by latest Monday the 7th July. We are now on the 14th July. Still no item no response via email, unable to get through on the phone and now see the shop is permanently closed.
My partner has been coming to this store for years, this is so unporessional and unacceptable.

Fraudsters took money refused contact and now shut Facebook and website down avoid at all costs

Sold items. Didn't deliver. Made excuses about lost in the post. They wouldn't reply to my refund requests.
Do not trust this company to fulfil online orders!!

Awful - placed an order over 3 weeks ago which got cancelled and still haven’t received a refund! Don’t answer calls, emails or anything avoid at all costs

Drove 40 miles on Monday to their shop as it says they are open. Closed and looks out of business. The signage is missing the middle section.

Taken money and keep saying it will be posted. 2 weeks now I have been waiting with no tracking number for my products. Won’t answer phone calls or emails. Having to go through PayPal to get a refund. Stay away from this company.

I placed an order for pipes and valves, requesting next-day delivery. The order was placed approximately three weeks ago. I have attempted to contact the company via email on multiple occasions, receiving only one response indicating that they would investigate the matter. Unfortunately, I have not received any tracking information.

I have also attempted to contact the company by phone, but I have been unable to reach anyone. While I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt and support a local business, I am struggling to reconcile this experience with my expectations.

I have requested a refund, but I have not yet received a response. I have had to contact my payment provider to assist in resolving this issue.

Awful customer service, communication is non existent, I had to open a case with paypal to get a refund when nearly 2 months down the line I still didn't have my purchase. They even put a bogus fake tracking number in the paypal resolution centre on the day that they case was going to be closed in my favour to extend the case. I fully understand when there is stocking issues but the lack of communication over this and then the blatant lying about it was just to much for me. If they had contacted me after my purchase and told me that they didn't have the item in stock (even though they were advertising in stock on their website) I would have had a chat with them and got them to suggest a good alternative. But I heard nothing from them and had to chase them, they were dismissive and kept fobbing me off until I finally opened a PayPal case to get my refund. They waited until the last day on the case and suddenly put up a tracking number which when investigated didn't exist. I will not be using them ever again which is a real shame as I like to shop with independent specialist shops and they appeared to have a good selection of items on their website but were unable to deliver what they offered and were dismissive when contacted.

Simply awful customer service place an order for piping got the pipes correct sent wrong size ball valves twice didn’t send 13 of the 15 elbows ordered, trying to make me pay for there mistakes.
Breached multiple consumer laws from trades description act and multiple consumer rights act

It’s just sad to give a lfs a chance from them to need taking to trading standards

I’ve been a customer of H2O for over 6 years, and still have some of the first fish I got from them back then. As a regular customer, Rachel provides a personal customer service and knows all her customers really well. They always have all the regular bits I need and is a one stop shop for anything marine. Rachel will always go out of her way to give great advice or help for anyone.

I've been shopping at H2O now for over 7 years and the quality is unbeatable! Also Rachel is such a joy see and she's always happy to assist with any issue with my tank.
