Look great but very poor quality.
I’ve been looking at Hard Yakka ladies work boots for a long time because they look great. Finally bought some yesterday and wore them in the house for an hour to check size/comfort. In 1hr, 2 of the surrounds for the lace holes had snapped in half… very poor quality. Really disappointed, they’ll be going back today.
Have been wearing Scruffs ladies for the past 5 or so years, I’ve gone through 4 pairs (they have a very hard life with me) and each time have been fantastic. I just wish they had more colour choice in women’s as they do their men’s models.

Do not trust the sizing
Do not trust the sizing! When buying shoes or boots online it’s always a bit of a risk, because you can’t try them on. So I was prepared for the boots to run a little bit large or small, but these were ridiculously too large. I ordered a UK 5 which they said were an EU 39. They were nowhere near a 39. I have some pretty chunky work boots, casual boots and hiking boots in a 39 and these were much larger than all of them. When I rang customer support at Hard Yakka they said they don’t normally offer free returns but that I could send them a detailed email with measurements, photos etc and they’d see how they could help. I spent a lot of time doing just that, to prove that they were wrongly sized, and several days later they sent me a short reply just saying they don’t offer free returns. Why make me waste all that time and still have to pay to send them back myself?! Pretty poor customer service. Will never buy Hard Yakka again and would definitely not recommend.

I bought a pair of hard yakka boots…
I bought a pair of hard yakka boots less than 8 months ago, and both of them have busted at the stitching on the sides
I wore hard yakka when I lived in Australia and they were great and I was delighted to see them on sale in my home country
But now very disappointed in them
Especially after paying over E160 for them

5 ⭐️ customer service
I bought a few items about 8 months ago, including a five pack of pairs of socks. Unfortunately two of the pairs developed a fault. The customer service team have been great at communicating with me and have resolved the issue with a full refund. I will be reordering another pack. Good to see that some companies do still value good customer service.

Unicorn work trousers
Been looking for some good work trousers for a while and was delighted when I found this company on an old OzzyManReviews clip on YouTube. The build quality is exceptional (triple stitched seams and fully reinforced pockets), incredibly comfortable and made from recycled bottles - perfect.

First off, incredibly comfortable from the outset. Didn't need wearing in . I'm a carpenter and on my feet and up and down ladders all day.
Unfortunately the sewing of the seams of the leather panels on the legend boots is very, very poor and several of them have failed in less than 6 months. The boots have not been used outside much or been wet often.
Very disappointed.

Quality, comfortable boots.
The hardest part was choosing the footwear after that everything went smoothly and a couple of days later my boots arrived at my door. Happy days.
