Hgv Driver Training Centre Avis

The hole experience was great,Steve had a lot of patience with questions we asked, great teacher, overall great 5 days

My instructor Karen was fantastic, extremely professional and supportive.
Everyone in the office I communicated with were always helpful and made the whole process as smooth and possible definitely recommend if you want to pass.

Great service, good communication an explanation of how to proceed, can’t fault them to be honest!

Very helpful. Quick responses when emailed with any questions

Very friendly and welcoming

I passed my HGV test today on the first attempt and had a great experience with The HGV Training Centre. The team were very professional and kept in regular contact, which really made me feel supported throughout the process.

A special thank you to Nikki Lilley, Tia Ashley, and Katie Meaklim for always being there and resolving my queries promptly.

Training with Peter Smythe Training was excellent, and my instructor Jordan was exceptional — patient, clear, and very knowledgeable. She prepared me perfectly to pass first time.

Highly recommended to anyone starting their HGV journey.

Great experience with this company

HGV Driver training set me up with all the theory and CPC revision which was just mind blowing for me. I passed Theory and CPC with no issues because all the information was there on a website they provided for me.
If I need any information, they were always an email away with quick responses.
I was allocated Hughes driver training in Northampton for a condensed driving course and passed Class 1 training first time.
I will return back to this company when I’m due a refresher or for an upskill.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!
The training was poor. The instructor spent more time on his phone than training me and i explained i was not happy and did not feel ready for my test.
They put me through to my test despite my concerns and lack of adequate training. i failed the test as expected.
When i tried to complain again, explaining that i wasn't ready and that i was unhappy with the training they showed me a document stating i had signed to say I was happy with the training. They had falsified my signature because I had never signed!!

I showed them my driving llicense which clearly showed that the signature they had on the paperwork was not mine and they have now ignored me.
I recommend everyone avoids this company.

EDIT- the team at HGV Driver Training Centre continue to stand behind their fraudulent records and so I have now raised this with JAUPT as well as starting the process with Trading Standards.

I cannot warn consumers enough, if you live anywhere near their Exeter training centre please find someone else to do your training with. The centre is unsupportive and HGV Driver Training Centre are only interested in money and not supporting candidates.

Their comment below stating I am in talks is false since my sensible and obvious evidence is being ignored by them,

from Oliver Stockwell

very easy going, excellent knowledge from all the instructors i had the pleasure to interact with, and they new the score as far has having to do the course as there all drivers themselves, all the admin staff i needed to speak with were all right on the ball, the instructions come through the night before so you can join the course with ease on zoom, i would 100% endorse this company and the icing is they were extremely competitive on price.

I cannot recommend this company too highly. Totally professional and knowledgeable about a process that can seem overwhelming at times. The staff are there for you every step of the way. Phone calls are answered promptly; queries are sorted; earliest test dates searched for; encouragement and understanding when there are setbacks; And finally a successful outcome.

I would highly recommend this company, they done their best to work around what dates best suit me to book exams. The material they provided for revising was really simple and broke down the information well.
A big thanks to Tom and Carolyn for helping me through the whole process.

Fully supported from start to finish 100% of all concerned

Friendly and helpful staff there with you every step of the way and provide everything needed to help you pass. Would highly recommend.

Really efficient and so so hopeful, they cant do enough to help and support you on your journey to passing your test. Gave me all the resources and everything I needed to help pass my theory and were super quick in getting me through to my practical. Thanks so much everyone!

My journey was made so much easier with the help of HGV driver training. They explained everything beforehand and were always available for any questions.
Once I passed one part of training I was then passed onto another team each time and they were equally as professional and helpful. Super recommended.

I had a dedicated agent throughout the whole process who made things clear and simple. Due to weather issues my test was cancelled and they were immediately in contact with me to arrange another date that suited me. The staff including Jamie and Carolyn were very friendly and professional. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend completing your license with them.

completed my Class 1 training with HGV Driver Training Centre and had a great experience. The instructors were professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. The training was well organised and helped me feel confident on the road. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience with this HGV training centre from start to finish. The instructors were very professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and made sure I felt confident before my test.

The training vehicles were well maintained, and the lessons were well structured and easy to follow. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. Booking lessons and test dates was straightforward and stress-free.
