hmv (UK) - Merry Hill Avis 

Vinyl required not a stock item. Excellent customer service, ordered my item and then regular emails on progress . I elected to collect from store. Very cheerful staff, chatted to me about my item and the artist even though store was busy I did not feel rushed

I,ve known Daryl and the staff for many years and they have always been helpful and polite at HMV Merryhill Dudley Westmidlands.

I normally love this store and spend a lot of money there as I am obsessed with Loungefly bags . Upon entering the store I went wanted to look at the bags near the door a lady names RI ? Was stood there was extremely rude to me and my husband . Her attitude was disgusting and she made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Not only that but as we left after our purchases she was bad mouthing us to her male colleague as we walked out the door so we could hear . I absolutely have no idea what her problem was or even what we did as she was vile as soon as we walked in . The only thing I can think is she was put on the job of standing at the door and wasn’t happy about that and was taking out on customers . Awful behaviour she should be kept out the back doing stock and not around customers

I was quite happy with the service I got, however when I picked my Bluray disc up from the store I noted that it had been delivered by royal mail. If I had this delivered to my home I would have had to pay for postage when picking up from the store was free. What's the difference???

Ordering items on the website is straight forward, user friendly.
I was notified by email when the item was ready to collect, they also allowed me 14 days to collect, which is good allowing me time to collect with out stressing.

Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff who made the process of ordering and collecting my order a breeze.

Asked Lucy at merry hill store if item could be purchased online nothing was too much trouble as she took me to the till found the item and said no problem we can order this paid for item really pleased with service

Martin provided what I would call proper Old-fashioned Customer Service. We located the item I required (Not in stock) and arranged for me to order and collect the following week within minutes. I was also dealt with very quickly when I collected the item and was in and out of the store within minutes.
I have however reduced the rating slightly due to the following. I Ordered the item on a Wednesday and had an e-mail the next day saying it had been dispatched however it took till Tuesday to get to the store via Royal Mail . Secondly on the notification message that I could collect it asked me to bring the E-mail along with Picture ID. As I had already paid for the item and had a receipt why is this. I am 76 and do not have a mail app on my phone. I think that a better way would be to just ask for e-mail address conformation as this had been used to send me updates (H. M. V. ) Please note.

Recently moved to a new, smaller location in the Merry hill centre. Just glad it's still open. Used the click and collect service which was very good, quick and efficient and much recommended. Friendly staff.

Everything went smooth and the items were delivered in time for when i needed them.

Unable to fulfil my order due to store being relocated apparently.
Refund said it was due to unwanted return. I definitely wanted the item and didn't want to cancel.

Order was sent dead on time even if you did say shop was shut for a few days.Notified and sent to me instead of picking it up free of charge
