Excellent customer service
I was looking for a DVD which wasn't in stock. I asked a member of staff for help who looked on the system & found a batch of them were due to be delivered soon but he didn't know when. He explained everything to me and I was very please with the customer service I received.

The store isn’t a patch on the one that…
The store isn’t a patch on the one that was on Above Bar. Staff are fine but they need a different system than asking you to put your email in every time you buy something. Screen is hard to type on so end up with loads of typos. I’d rather they store my email and scan a code that links to my account. Stock isn’t always in on release date. Also, miss the points system. Serves its purpose when you want something but store feels quite soulless which was never an issue in the old HMV store. Three levels- movies upstairs, new stuff and then lower level for music and diff genres. Those were the days… 😂

I wanted some classical music from…
I wanted some classical music from Rondo Veneziano but I couldn’t get it in store so had to order it, the assistant was very helpful, the disc came within 4 days

HMW Southampton continues to be rad!
HMW Southampton continues to stock both cd and vinyl. New music is always on the speakers. The staff are knowledgeable and keen to help wherever they can.
I used to work for this long loved hight street asset and will pop in most weeks to grab new releases and order the lesser known artists. Keep it up xx

Excellent service at Southampton shop
We visited the Southampton shop on Saturday 2 May, we received excellent service from Harry who was so patient and kind in explaining different headsets for my son who has autism
